anyways here is the juicy story y'all have been waiting for. These are characters I co-own with @bleachwaffle Whatever she says about them is also canon.
Characters featured in order are; Honeycomb, Songbird, Skunktail, Sharkbite, Beetlestar, and Wildflower.
Things aren't going super well in the clans right now especially with health. Area is infested with disease from two-leg pest prevention and also just general bad water management. So stuff is rough right now. The very new and stressed Med Cat, Honeycomb is met by his ancestor, Songbird, who claims to have been an accomplished healer in her time.
The long and short of it is that Songbird granted him a boon- it really makes him an effective healer; however there was an unspoken cost. Songbird is not a good cat- and not the average healer. She is back in action to accurse specific bloodlines.
When Skunktail's healthy kits withers before everyone as Honeycomb helps deliver her- he knows something is wrong. He confronts Songbird and she is basically like- tough luck kid I know you wanna save your whole clan. But Honey just straight up says no.
Video goes through all the cats that really got the short end of the stick- starting off with the grieving Skunktail, to Sharkbite his best friend not being able to get her treated because Honeycomb is refusing to heal anyone, and Beetlestar who is actively losing his lives due to a treatable disease.
Anyways- Honey wants to figure out how to break the boon he made with Songbird and his sister, Wildflower confronts him and tries to convince her brother to just suck it up because everyone is sick- he cant apprentice anyone, and they're all gonna die if he doesn't do anything.
