HAULING HAY
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In todays video we are hauling hay. Me, father phil and bro are all involved in this one as we load up hay from the field to be delivered to customers. The good aul telly is in full force and our new mckee engineering low loader gets put to good use. At the beginning of the video you'll see the guys from organicgarden.ie putting up our new poly tunnel. So impressed, top quality tunnel from them and cant wait to get growing, as you can see our old tunnel is a bit tired looking.
Tunnel available from www.organicgarden.ie 0852816424

Good to see Eric helping out with the tractor work when you were loading bales Phil!
How times have changed. I remember stacking 2 loads of small bales into a shed when I was Brother's age delivered by Mother Phil's father and Mother. Technology has moved a long way in night on 40 years, when hay was moved with a 188, cattle trailer and Darby fork........we knew no better.
milwaukee grease gun would be a great purchase for your operation Phil, great vid...

Good last throw Bro
Good stuff Phil!
Great video as usual
another great video
GreAt video . Can’t wait to see the Square Baler in action
19:30 good coaching of rope techniques there Phil. Very important to be able to tie a load down properly.
Great video Phil as always…… but could we get a bloopers video…… for a change…… for the craic like??
re bonjour encore une très belle vidéo 😍👍👍👍
Lad, I used to keep bee's myself, I'll probably be able to locate nucs for you.
Nice to see the boss woman at the start
Well done Phil
Only just got our hay cut. Gotta commend you for getting it off just in the nick of time. We didn't even try. (We also had wholecrop and 2nd cut to get tho)
Like the new Poly tunnel looks real sturdy. I think it's great that you are diversifying and trying new things at the farm. Bee's... who will get stung first? lol.
Hi Phil you can grow the strawberry in the pollytunne in grow bags Great way for having early strawberry and your can plant early patoes in mind January and having tham in May
You should get the big mirrors for the 6499 the ones That have a small curve at the bottom
Bro got it hard to pull out in the teleporter out at the bridge
loved seeing the greenhouse, cant wait to see how the orchard is coming and the chickens and ducks will have a great time picking bugs for you. Nice to see the projects going on! thanks!
first comment go on ya good thing that teleporter is a workhorse
Think bro needs a sticker on the teleporter, farmer bro 😂😂
that polytunel is massive
Your driver with the 7718 seems to like his red broughans 😂 he’s the red bale trailer silage trailer and dump trailer
Should have got a bale wedge for the new low loader.
Great vid Phil, Eric must be pulling that he hasn’t got his license yet Ik I would be in his position..
Great video Phil great to see the farm expanding with the new tunnel it’s a fine job just wondering have you any plans on getting the 6290 that’s in the garage up and running

We have a sworn of black honey bees that are native to Ireland and are rare to see. Well that’s what we were told and it was a small hole in a tree that they went to
Hey Phil super video as usually just a wonder if u stand the bottom row of bales u gain for the top row
I like those trailers. We use 25 ft gooseneck and a 1 ton to move all of our hay but those racks are giving me some ideas 💡. We can move 19 5x4 at a time and we are always getting orders for 100 to 200 rolls and takes all day to move them especially when it's 18 miles to one of the places we went today. We could pull one like that and haul a lot more hay but I would be over height on the road but it would be great from the field to the hay yard

Stand the bottom row up you get 2 extra on top 2 long straps front to back then it be secure
@jwhitley101whitleyfarms9

@@johnmcintyre800 that's a good idea and it would get the height down as well
Well. Think you should keep bro away from planting as it hasn't worked on the wee jcb 😁😂. That's a lot of hay your carting there. Parks are looking good already. Stay safe 🏴 👌 👍
Phil great video. Just to let you know the way to throw a strap is to hold the hook and throw the sling. Health and safety. Just incase there is somebody on the other side . That’s what I was always told. Total respect Philip

Think yoi right have it rolled up tight hold the hook that lasso throw harder to get it up and over
These polycarbonate tunnels are amazing, only downside is the price difference between the plastic sheet covered one and polycarbonate version. But with the little extra money it costs its well worth it in the long run keeping the cold out and the heat in also if you have a paraffin heater you can get started real early with planting. I know a few people that start thier seeds in march and they are now lifting the early cabbage and broccoli while mine is still a month or 2 away

Yeah I'd say if you're actually going to use it it would be worth it especially over many years
Lara Nolan Carlow sell beehives in Carlow town
I found it hard to get frames for a hive, never mind bees, there is a bit of worry around American foul brood at the moment I believe around Kildare. So look out for that if you do find someone with bees.
Looking forward to seeing lots of content on the pigs!
The strawberry plant will spread like mad jw what length is the broghan with the extension in / out
My god is that torture we draw all our bales with lorries and we live in mayo so its not like we're driving in the fields with full loads but its definitely less torture than that
you'll have to hunt father phil out of the 6499 for the next video
happenen mr Phil
Bee nukes are sold at certain times of the year. I don’t know your seasons. You need to be going into a nectar flow for the bees to build. Check out 365 dirt rooster.
Nice video. Beats small square bales and a fork. 🤦♂️
I think a newer loadall wouldn't be a bad idea. I think your one has seen better days

If ye were only doing a short draw to the yard Phil, I'd suggest standing bottom row up 2nd row then ontop same way ye had it and put a strap on each side then, save all the tying down. Holds like a dream and fully compliant👌 You need only loosen 1 strap then to unload.
How much hay bales did ye make all up?
Was bro driving the teleporter on the road at the end
What kind of weight can you get in the 4x4 bales ?
Would 100% recommend an electric grease gun
No auto load there 🤣🤣
How many round bales of hay did you make in total
What varieties of strawberries did yous grow.
Making bank Phil 😉💶💶💶👍🤠
Was the teleportor green at some point
Do a vid of the daewoo
Can u do the square baling vid because I really want to see it working
Who did yee get for the diggen
how are you phil have you got a massey ferguson
Where’s the square baler gone?!
PHIL WOULD YOU GET A FEW SHEEP?
Has bro got the license now?
When storing your ratchet straps I.e rolling up the strap do you put the hook in the middle or do you keep it to the outside ?
i know this is late and you wont see it but im not sure but i think i saw you bringing hay but i dont know were you going true leitrim village
Mudguard is well fucked on the 6290 now 🤣
Maith fear Eric
Doesn't Cian do KZread Ag videos Phil ??
Safe load???
Did ur bro get his tractor license yet
Philip I have a question do you do combine contracting as well in the summer
Phil why is your JCB green? Is it like an ex-council one or something?
