I did the same job on the twin rotor rake last winter. Basically the same setup as yours inside… unfortunately I did the job with as the bolts that held the crown wheel on were supposed to have lock tight on😬😭🤦‍♂️ I didn’t know

Back in the day we had the same problem working on the silage pit with a 4 ton lift Sanderson fork lift known to us as the beast, after much hard graft the hydraulic oil would begin to cook.

Not worth much my dad told me about a Matbro they had at contractor he worked for would either boil or have gearbox failures they got rid of it and my ole boy said he wanted a pivot steer the guy bought a 412 for him that you sit on the front of and it never gave any bother at all very reliable and my old boy made sure the guy bought genuine filters bombproof it was sold to he brother of a fellow he went to drive for later and the guy still has it
