There are noble people in all communities. But mostly Sikhs and Mulims are distant cousins. That noble family deserve a medal from Pakistani government. We must appreciate their nobility, vision and friendly behaviour. It gives me a great pleasure to say that some Sikhs came to my grandfather and lived in our house at difficult time. When there were better circumstances then my grandmother travelled with them from Pattoki to GandaSingh border for their safety. We all Punjabis suffered a lot because of the partition 😢. This team is doing a great task to preserve the common heritage and the real history of 1947 including brotherhood of both communities. Please keep it. Thanks

@@muhammadikramraza7017: you are right but unfortunately those Muslim girls were abducted and their family members either killed or forced to flee and the girls refused to be reunited with them for fear of being rejected when authorities finally found them. But where Sikhs protected Muslim families during the violence, they were not forced to convert after the violence was over and are still living as Muslims and that’s the story in almost every village in East Punjab. On the contrary, at one time 16% of the population of Pakistan were Hindu. What is the ratio now? Less than 1%
