Happy Mothers day to you, Tabassumji and truly speaking how heart wrenching the struggle of Hasrat Jaipuri's is and yet he pulled off well through out excellently. Today's every common man's problem is that he complains, gets dissatisfied with the job and does not realize what his talent is all about. He should learn from his struggles and do those jobs or work in which he is talented. Instead he wastes his time and energy doing jobs or work, which is not of his taste. Be it Hasrat Jaipuri's leaving home for his mother's anger over his shero shayaris, be it the bus conductor not charging fare for beautiful lady passengers, or doing mushhairas, he was absolutely enjoying his work and exploring more of his own talent. It is very well said that loneliness and poverty nourishes one's talent for greater success. In a certain interview, Shammi Kapoor said that his only favorite song by which he would love to be remembered by the world was the song written by Hasrat Jaipuri, which is "tum mujhe yun bhulana paoge".

Tera mera pyar amar, Teri pyari pyari surat ko, bharon phool barsao....and so the list goes on of these beautiful romantic gems. ...Hasrat sahib was a true legend 🙏💕🌹

Although he mostly worked with late Shri Jaikishan as both of them had similar temprament and they were romantic by heart. When late Shri Shankar passed away, he said: Wo Mausiqui Ka Samandar Chala Gaya.. A great lyricist.

I remember Tabassum’s talk shows as a little kid as one of the only recurring shows other than news and Chitrahaar. It’s so great to hear from her in this age of KZread! And her content is still unmatched.

Bahut bahut shukriya Tabassum Ji Urdu ke mashhoor shair ki zindagi ke bare batane ke liye. Hasrat Jaipuri Sahab Urdu ke ek mashhoor Shair aur ek behtareen aur kamyab Naghma Nigar the. Unke tahreer kiye huye sabhi naghme behtreen, Lajawab, Lazwal, Maqbool e Aam aur superhit they, hain aur rahti dunya tak rahenge.

Each of these songs were pure gems.... the words were pure gold, this was a lovely episode, Thank you 🙏💗

What memories must you have! And what memories your father has given all of us! Sometime ago I came across a poem your father wrote, bemoaning the passing away of the people he was closely associated with, shailendra, Shankar, and Jaikishan. I wish I can find it again.
