Now this Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary Big Three is what all Marvel Legends should look like. Great Paint Apps, Detailed Sculpts , Intimidating Sizes and realistically capturing the likeness of the Character in the comics. I have it on my Shelf and man, from a far, you can tell that you are looking at the Avengers. Great review!!!

QC wise, Thor definitely came out the best. Overall shelf presence and posing..gotta give it to Iron Man. And damn, those straps and larger shield look amazing on the new Cap.

The head sculpts for Cap one from Alex Ross (squared jaw) the other is from Steranko (narrow face).

Butterfly joints should be a standard by now.

It be cool if one of the blast effects would plug in iron man's arc reactor to make it look like a uni beam

When I was a kid one of the first action figures I had was Iron Man from the Secret Wars line. This figure is as close to that same classic look as I've seen! So glad to have this figure!

What I love most about these figures is these are Marvel superheroes at it's purest form.

With Iron Man, they apparently screwed up at the factory and labeled his upper arms incorrectly. So is left bicep is on the right and vice-versa. If you compare him to other figures you'll notice that the single cut line should be on the inside and triceps should be on the outside. It's a pretty easy boil and pop fix, but it's still a pain in the ass.

These 3 are just amazing. I could not put down Cap for a week! The Hydra 2-pack brown back straps accessory look really good on Cap with his shield mounted. I also put Tony’s head on Xavier’s body for a really retro look.

I really hope we get a classic war machine figure for marvel legends

Great overview of the 80th anniversary legends, I checked out your last video with your man Ryan, although he did ask good questions about marvel legends ,he didn't ask about who else is coming out with the 80years aniversary line, mainly a Steve Ditko spider-man with a extra John Romita style head lol just putting it out there one more time. 👍🏾

Look at the older Toy Biz professor X body with the suit vest may look really good

For sure they'll release Thor in the Vintage Wave. With the the blue shirt and classic light blue for the disks. Also a more vibrant Red for his cape. Maybe a lightning effect included

You definitely did enough different to make this video enjoyable, considering how many reviews have been out. Great stuff, appreciate you trying a suit body for the Stark head. It's not horrible imo, just noticably balloon headed.

As far as Iron Man is concerned, the helmet with the nose is a repainted Guardsman, don't like. But the over all action figure is great. The Thor is a remodeled of a earlier figure, still very good work. Excelsior ya'll

There seems to be lots of little paint blemishes for all of them. I hope we get a war machine. I kinda wanted a vacuum chrome finish for iron man to resemble alex ross' more.

Great review Boog! Picked up these 3 all at once when our WalMart just put them out. Do you know the reason why all of the recent IM repulsor blast hands are in a fixed position? I wonder how the Tony head would look on the CM Fury body since its a little bigger? I think I might try putting a leather strap on Mjolinir.

Now THIS is the Avengers! Thor with a hammer, cape, helmet and long hair! Ironman in gold! And the chest was the unibeam- that armor was powered by the batteries (cells) on his hips! And you could see his eyes! If only he was yellow... And Cap with his mask and his shield.. Amazing figures! Here's hoping they do these in 1/6th scale..... 🤞

That is the fourth Iron Man suit and it debuted in 1974 I believe, and they added and dropped the nose within a few years. It's really his most tenured suit.

Also Shartimus pointed out you can use the strap on the hammer in order to emulate Thor flying. I dunno if this was intentional, but I agree, a more natural looking strap would have been preferred.

These look great man. Saw Iron Man and Thor at my Gamestop but had to pass them up. The Captain America head the triangular "hole" on the A is Alex Ross based, the head with the block shaped "hole" on the A is just a general Captain America head. The Iron Man head with the nose is Alex Ross based(or it could double for that super short period when Stan Lee wanted a nose on the face plate). And the flat face plate head is just a general Iron man head.

The second head is Alex Ross and the Ironman in package is the Classic Ironman i bought 2 i would like to see the Steve Ditko pointed helmet aka Avengers 4 look

The clip on the shield needs to be redesigned. I got the recent crimson dynamo wave red guardian, his shield had stress marks on the clip out of the box.

Can’t wait to get Captain America!

Check out Fwooshs review boog, he showed some of the issues with Iron Man's arms put on the wrong sides from the factory. Easy fix though.

In the 70s, Stan Lee saw an image of Iron Man and said "Shouldn't he have a nose?" so the writers gave him a nose. Then, a year later, Stan Lee was like "Why does he have a nose? Get rid of it." True story. And that's why that one head has a nose.

Damn Boog, you just reminded me how I sold my Giant-Man years ago. From an interview I saw the other day, Hasbro might be making a classic Giant-Man figure. Just do it like the MCU version and sell it by itself. *That info might've been from that video you uploaded.

What do you think about a complete civilian wave Boog? Hopefully they’d include a few new molds like: a slender one for Bruce Banner, a lean athletic body for Peter Parker, a slightly buffer body for Tony Stark, and a new female buck. It might not sell well with casual fans but the comic/collector heads would buy em up. 😆

Good review. I am so happy with these figures. Fantastic offering by Hasbro. I think the secondary headsculpt is inspired by artist Ron Garney.

I found iron man and THOR at my ThinkGeek. And yeah im not a fan of the blue on that cap so i hope they will do a vap on that lighter blue, and i gave the toy biz sheald to cap wolf. And i really like that iron man i junked my toybiz iron man along with THOR. And this THOR is the numbe one legend of this year.

Saw 6 at Walmart today, wonky eyes on every one,and in all the reviews I've seen.

I swapped out Thors head from the infinity war movie figure head onto this comic Thors body, and it just made Chris Hemsworth look rocked out as Thor. Lol. Switched back, it was too weird.

Great review, although not many have commented on the higher price point (maybe no one wants to upset hasbro), but I think for the superior sculpting it was ok for a few more bucks.

I really wish they would make an updated version of Winter Soldier. The only comic version of him out there is the Toys R Us exclusive that included Black Widow; and trying to find one for a decent price is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Today was the first day my Walmart finally got the Cap.

First off: mee ol neer. Second: maybe we'll get a USAgent on this body? I'd buy it, butterflies or not. Third: whole the sculpt of the Toy Biz Tour doesn't hold up, the materials do. Feel how soft and flexible that hair is? Compare that to this new Thor, he's stiffer! They need to design the hair overlay for long haired characters, male and female, because they've added articulation, but without softer more flexible hair (and maybe only gluing it halfway up the back of the head?) we can't really pose it.

NA NA The Golden Age of superhero comics was the late 1930s until the 1950s. Marvel’s Silver Age began when Fantastic Four issue 1 came out in 1961.

Hasbro hesitates to give butterfly joints to characters that need new molds unless they KNOW for sure the mold will be reused several times over (i.e. Wolverine). I was surprised Nightcrawler has them but you can see the mold is partly reused with the shoulder pad sculpt being added on top. IMHO any character that uses/throws melee weapons should have them, females included
