I wouldn't enjoy watching the amnesia compilations or playthroughs today at all, but I loved them to death when they first came out. Just seeing Felix and Marzia's "happily ever after" arc in Japan just feels...completely in its place. The fact that he and Marzia are just experiencing true happiness makes me happy, and it's very difficult to explain why. They just feel very deserving of happiness.

When X said Pewds survived so much shit on YT he isn't joking. I'll never forget that video pewds made years ago when he sat in his car and cried and really showed how exhausting being in the spotlight is and how hard it is to constantly be on go. I didn't understand it much back then because I was young and in school but as an adult I have had so many of those moments and it makes me want to run away from it all. Pewds didn't fall off or give up he just made his life match his escape world. I hope one day I can achieve that. I will always smile when I hear that OG Pewds intro and when he sends us a bro fist. 😄

Yeah he did, he is just fed up with KZread at this point and wants to relax and live his life without stressing with KZread. And i don't blame him, doing the same thing for 10 years, literally posting every single day must get very boring and tiresome at some point, that's why he changed his content in the last years because he felt he needed a change for himself, he didn't felt like he was having fun about doing KZread anymore. I think he realized that whatever changes he tries to bring to his content it will not make him feel more excited and passionate, and he simply decided to post more rarely, whatever he wanted and whenever he felt like it.

My problem with SunnyV2 is that he gives off such view count Andy vibes I get kind of annoyed. It's always a competition or a comparison to the performance of others, he almost seems to ignore what Pewdiepie is literally saying in the clips he uses. Mental health, exhaustion, new or different hobbies or ideas? Eh. it's just about the numbers, it's about outperforming the next person. Almost everybody he makes videos about, doesn't matter if they "fell off" or aren't making content anynmore, they have more than enough money to retire and be comfortable. At that point content creators do 1 of three things, retire, take a backseat and make content until they no longer enjoy it, or continue to push hard to break new barriers *either* by numbers and revenue OR by the evolution of their content. For some reason, Sunny always seems to assume the third option motivated by growth which entails money and notoriety. It's mindboggling to me how he'll do a bunch of research, put in some good clips that contextualize what he's talking about but then shit on it with his inability to grasp any other aspect other than growth, money, fame- as if content creators are only in it for the sake vanity.

Like an artist that makes music youtubers have been around long enough to go through those same phases. People even prefer a certain “era” of XqC. Felix has realised that there’s no point in trying to chase the old days or continue slogging through making the same garbage and has evolved his content with himself. It’s pretty good, I too prefer the Japan vlogs and how fulfilled he seems now. He still does old style vids too but rarely. With how samey youtube became I really like how Pews evolved

Felix's new videos are actually really, really good. He's living his life in a country that he's wanted to live in forever, enjoying life and vlogging about it. Of course he isn't going to take it as seriously anymore, he doesn't need to.

Pewds is genuinely the king of KZread. He's set, followed and ended so many trends, gone through a good handful of categories of controversies, he's been a basement dweller, he's done the genuine celebrity tour with galas and the like, he's gotten two custom play button one of which was customized to himself, been on the grind, off the grind, completely crushed the numbers all by himself and brought people up with him and lately he's TRULY brought himself up. And almost never was he not being himself and for the periods that he wasn't such as when the work became too much or when he got lost in the metas it didn't last long and he couldn't keep it up. Complete and utter insanity. This is genuinely the only celebrity who's success genuinely warmed my heart as if I was seeing a long friend achieve his goals.
