I think Bellingham is going to change RM plans. Kudos to Ancelotti to have the intelligence to give Bellingham the freedom to explode with the diamond style of play. He's an extraordinary player, he has everything. Skill, competitiveness, cheekiness - he has the Bernabeu wrapped around his little finger with little more than a month of competition. I'm 63 y.o. have been a madridista all my life and can't remember a player having such a huge impact in so little time. He's only 20 y.o and the sky is the limit. He knows it and RM knows it as well.

@@enockt6218 Not even them. Ronaldo and Zidane joined RM in the twilight of their careers, and there was plenty of criticism at the time about their performance in la Liga. Bellingham is 20 y.o. and his impact in RM is outstanding for someone so young. He's commanding the team, loving it and having the dressing room - from French, to Spaniards, to Brazilians players, loving him as well. He's freaking unbelievable.

At the moment Madrid looks like the best team in La Liga, and i actually think they had some really solid games. Second half against Getafe was 10/10. but lacking another striker and those hard injuries to key players, might come to hurt them at the later stages of the season. They should be able to fight for La Liga, but i don't see them getting that far in the CL this season without Militao and Courtois. Kepa is shaky at best.

I know Real Madrid haven’t looked at their best but 4 wins out of 4 they’re getting the job done even though they haven’t played well they’re dealing with injuries and Jude Bellingham’s scoring form has been a big factor as to why they’re winning games when they’re not in top form and it tells you how much better Real Madrid will be when everyone’s fit and they sign a top striker next summer. Jude Bellingham won’t stop anytime soon he’s on a roll right now and he’s staying in that number 10 position given the red hot form he’s in at the moment.

It’s not only RM tbh.. As a whole LaLiga doesn’t looks promising. Look other teams.. Barcelona.. Atletico.. LaLiga spend this transfer window combined what Chelsea team spend. LaLiga have some big problems in the future in term of competition and paychecks. Not only the top teams but the mid tables as well.. unfortunately I doubt they can fix that somehow unless they will form that super league in the next years which I doubt about it.

@@Kela552 Not starting Luka Modric and Toni Kroos makes Real Madrid less creative especially when they play against teams that have a low block. Both of them despite their advancing ages still know how to play football and are incredible players, sure they can no longer play together, but every time I see one of Luka Modric or Toni Kroos on the field, they just ooze class and still play well for Real Madrid. Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde rely on energy in midfield, that's the profile of how they play and it's useful in some games but aren't as creative as Kroos or Modric. They're becoming over-reliant on Jude Bellingham for productivity in front of goal and despite the fact that they've started the season 4/4 perfect, Real Madrid are far from their best and have gotten a little lucky to get 3 points when the reality is there was a game or 2 where they would've dropped points either a draw or loss.

Despite the red hot form Jude Bellingham is in to start the season, Real Madrid still needs to sign a striker whether it’s Kylian Mbappe or anybody else Erling Haaland Victor Osimhen etc even though Endrick will arrive there next year but I expect them to sign a proven frontmen who’ll score the goals and lead the line up top. It’s great to see Jude Bellingham playing well and scoring goals for Real Madrid but in all honesty I don’t know how long this is gonna last. He as a number 10 is making runs inside the box and playing more forward than ever before and he’s getting goals but very soon this is gonna impact Real Madrid in the bigger games not signing a top striker since they need to get goals from the other players like Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo. Joselu is only a backup striker that’s it and you can’t keep relying on Jude Bellingham to score goals since he’s winning games for you and there have been injuries eventually Real Madrid not having a striker is gonna massively impact them at some stage in the season in the bigger games.

@@ronnyron4681 that’s a good point I don’t know how effective Vinicius Junior is on the right wing, Kylian Mbappe is capable of playing there he did exceptionally well in that position when France won the World Cup in 2018. This is the dilemma Real Madrid are in next summer if they manage to sign Kylian Mbappe fitting him in the team since his best position is on the left wing and Real Madrid already have a world class left winger in Vinicius Junior and I believe that they’re gonna work something out to make sure that Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior can fit in the same team.

Agreed man, I just hope when the goals show down no one turns their back on Jude we gotta remember he was not brought in to be a goal scorer he was brought in as a role player, I hope we can keep it going but it has been very tacky, especially conceding goals in the first 15 min of the game multiple times and having to Grind it out

I agree. Bellingham is good but to be honest the only reason he is getting this many opportunities is because the formation change is benefiting him at the expense of our other forwards. People don't realise how Ancelotti bring the best out of few players. Vini, rodrygo, cama, Valverde and now Bellingham.

As a Barca fan, he is a great player especially in clutch situations. Great minded player as well especially for his humbleness which is a hard characteristic to find. I have respect for Madrid but I would have much more respect if they used their youth players at least as subs.

You’re looking very short term though. Benzema is turning 36 in a few months bud. He has maybe a year and a half left of top top form before his numbers start to slip. We saw that with Ronaldo also. Its true Ronaldo and Messi are absolutely tearing it up in Saudi and US, but they wouldn’t maintain those numbers in LaLiga against LaLiga defenders. Its a different ballgame - Busquets, Alba; any top tier LaLiga player who may or may not be in top form will still be able to do very well in the MLS. Real would be looking to build for the future not just the next year or 2.

It’s true though. The supposed experts are right. He is better playing deeper, it’s just that he *can* play anywhere and can still look good up front even though it’s not his strongest position. It’s just how brilliant he is as a player. Nothing to do with Ancelotti, frankly Ancelotti hasn’t been coaching him long enough to claim credit for this. Btw, Bellingham’s number has been 22 throughout his career because of this, because his coach when he was young suggested he could play as a 10 or an 8 or a 4 (4 was used as a 6 at the time, so still a midfielder position), so instead of choosing one he should just challenge himself to do it all. 10 + 4 +8 = 22.

Either that or you didn't see the games. I say he is 20 and he is learning that scoring goals is pretty cool, specially for Madrid, and I bet he would play almost his entire career in that position since Tchouameni, Camavinga and Valverde are three midfielders that can cover pretty much the entire midfield by their own. Goals are money my friend. Nobody cares about tackles or defensive prowess when you can help your team by assisting or scoring goals, the two most dificult things in football probably. So I say his best position IS exactly where he can help his team with his vision to assist and with his ability to always find the best space to be in every play. In fact, he remembers me a lot of Raúl, always in the right place at the right time, and Raúl wasn't a midfielders neither a pure striker or number 9, more like a second striker behind Ronaldo.

This transfer window would have been one of the best in the club's history if that stupid Turtle joined or made it clear to Perez that he isn't coming so we could move on for an Oshimen

Love Jude. But he’s not enough. They can’t rely on him pulling those performances off on a constant basis. They need a striker.

Jude Bell was perfect to experiment , no particular goal, and no one was put tremendous pressure on himself an unreasonable goal, to see its potential!

Can I ask why do they not just leave internationals for after the season is finished. Because international breaks kill the tempo of teams and some players get injured during this time aswell. It also helps because players could then spend more then just to weeks with their international teams and team mates. Where as during the season it disrupts the flow of players and clubs. I don't like international breaks during the club season. It really derails alot of teams seasons progress.

I think Barcelona have the more balanced team this season. They got very good players in and their attack is stacked plus they've filled their weak positions in defence and midfield. We, on the other hand have got arguably one of the best midfields in Europe but refused to get a striker to replace Benzema who has left a HUGE hole in attack. Also, defence is kinda thin with Militao injured for the rest of the season and no replacement bought. Also, Kepa being our first choice GK. Jittery Fran Garcia at LB, Mendy being the other LB. I am glad Bellingham is giving us those needed goals but I can't see us going an entire season depending on a midfielder to save us, especially with Vini adapting to a new role. My hope and wish is that Arda Guler becomes exactly what I'm hoping he is, a creative RM/RW with ozil's vision, technical ability especially in drawing out players and his pinpoint crossing. I'm hoping he becomes a Di Maria (without the pace) with Ozil's visions and flair... Then we can go back to a 433 and have Rodrygo, Bellingham, Vini and Joselu scoring goals, with Vini and Arda playing LW and RW and Rodrygo playing in the centre and mixing it up with Jude. Carvajal started the season on great form at RB but we know his injuries somehow dampens his season. Lucas at RB is getting cooked by any decent winger.

Julien Laurens keeps trying to get the Mbappe to RM saga alive by saying JB still needs players like him around. First, Mbappe doesn't want competition in a team and second, clubs change tactical signing plans all the time when a player, like Bellingham, is the complete package. Real Madrid has a great team of young talent players (unfortunately too many injured right now) and next year with the arrival of Endrick, they could be looking at signing other positions more necessary than Mbappe.

If Mbappe joins, I would play 3 4 3 - mid is the same Diamond you have now, upfront is your trio of Vini Mbappe, and Rodrygo. I would have Arda replace Rorygo if slacking. Back line would be Rudiger, Alaba, and Miltao when back, and I would invest in another CB. This line is way better than 4 in the back since you have two defensive midfilders in Touchmani and camavinga. You also won’t need to buy L and R back who’re gonna be expensive replacements. Issue is Ancielloti has always stuck with 4 in the back even with his LB struggles. It makes sense now because of Vini and Miltao injury, but next coach should try it

We all saw the struggles Bayern Munich had last season when they didn’t have an elite striker after Robert Lewandowksi departed for Barcelona. They barely even won the Bundesliga and in the Champions League quarterfinals despite creating a lot of chances against Manchester City they lost 4-1 on both legs and it was clear that Bayern Munich lacked a clinical finisher in the team and they waited a year and now have signed Harry Kane a top caliber striker who Real Madrid by the way should’ve tried to sign him this summer. Jude Bellingham can continue scoring goals and carrying the team but this isn’t sustainable in the long run this season as they’re not gonna change the formation regardless of how he’s performing Real Madrid are still gonna sign a striker and finally get Kylian Mbappe in 2024 once and for all and that completes the team right there solving the striker problem next year if they get him or anyone else.
