The way he tugged his collar like he was getting overheated and being choked, and fumbled when trying to get a drink, plus getting choked up when trying to speak. One of my favourite scenes in the show for its incredible acting on the part of Gabriel Macht. Perfectly personifies what it feels like to be in a state of physical weakness when having a panic attack. The red eyes when he turns around and stares out the window, the way he reacts and turns to Jack Soloff and almost stumbles towards him, the way his voice sounds almost out of breath when speaking to him but finally gains his footing and voice to deliver the finishing blow. Just pure master class in acting, direction and just all-around one of the baddest scenes in the series. Wish they had shown when Jack leaves and he goes back to being more vulnerable and Mike is there to have his back and do whatever he needs to do to help Harvey.

Harvey is one of my top 5 tv show characters. It's not just the confidence. It's the fact he can switch it on when it needs it. Even in a bluff confidence carries you. Something I've always lacked is confidence, it's nice seeing Mike go from a self depreciating kid to a grown man with a wife and a career he truly earned. I accept in real life he'd go straight to jail, but in his case because it would be true, the end result far outweighed the means throughout his cases and his entire career.

3:15 this part. This exactly what I saw when I was having a really bad panic attack in my class in high school. Every thing and everyone felt like was in slow motion and blurry. I thought I was going to pass out. And the way he snaps back into somewhat calm when he focused his attention to what the other guy was saying is something I do too when I’m anxious or panicking.

I can't speak for anyone else's experience with panic attacks, but as someone who has suffered a handful himself, this is pretty much spot on. Your peripheral starts to fade, everything becomes fuzzy, you can barely hear anything, your chest tightens, your stomach flips, and you can barely stand up.

Yes they got it spot on. I’ve had 2 and they both start with sweating and tightness in your chest, I think that’s why he was fixing his collar, to help him breathe. The part I love the most was when he poured the water. I can’t describe it but your hands almost seize up. I remember walking into the emergency room I couldn’t even take my wallet out of my pocket to hand them my ID. The show did a great job. Also funny to note mike asked him if he was having heart attack. I went to the emergency the first time I had one because I thought the same thing.

Fighting during a panic attack actually helps it. Your heart starts beating like you’ve been running which confuses the brain and panics it. So the best thing to do is to start doing something that makes it beat. Like moving around, light exercise or arguing. Everyone is different and handles panic attacks differently of course but giving your brain a reason for your heart to beat will calm it down and not lead to conclusions like heart attacks which then creates a cycle of panic.

They nailed the panic attack feeling 100%. Walls seemingly closing in, everyone seems to be bugging you at the same time, everything seems to be falling apart and you know it’s just your imagination but also can’t stop it. You know it’s just in your head but the symptoms are real. It hits in your early twenties and makes you feel like you are going to die. Pro tip, take an ice cold shower and splash water in your face…will slow your heart rate and eventually calm you down.

I don't get panic attacks often but I had one while driving my mom home from the train station over half an hour away from home in a city I'd never been with no map or gps. Grey vision, barely feeling my body. I couldn't pull over, I couldn't let it out, had no choice but to stay focused on the road to avoid hitting anyone. Scariest 20 minutes of my life. Sometimes, whilst facing a problem as a man, what do you need is a fight, an aim, a purpose. This does not helps just with panic attacks, but with descouragement, depression, etc. Men don't like to 'share their fellings' as women do to relieve their emotions, but have something else to focus on to stop centring your thoughts over negative thinking. That's why Harvey here manage to find some strenght to react against the other fellow.
