I saw some comments asking about this fruit. It's called citron (cedrat, cetrus apple,galgal) originally from india. they are citrus related. We used to grow it in my house so it can withstand hot weather. And make jam from the white meat that is under the skin. Oh snd they don't grow on the tree trunks

They're are from citrus family like lemon .called citron (cây thanh yên) . Has bumpy skin thick white meat under them the pulps which can be sour or sweet. Like lemon they grow on branches not tree trunk . We used to make jam from the white meat inside.
