    We've never heard of Shampoo Ginger. We learned something today. That is a nice harvest. Anything natural is great. We will do more research to find out how to make the shampoo. Thanks for sharing. Have a good week. #ONELOVE

    This video explains why I have not been successful with ginger or other rhizomes. My yard gets full sun most of the day. I'm working on creating some partially shaded areas for shade loving plants.

    I agree Dan. I am growing some shampoo ginger now in my shade part of my garden. This Florida sun does not play, either your plants like the sun or it doesn't. I am told that the shampoo ginger have a pleasant smell. Something organic for my hair. Peace and Blessing.

    Shampoo ginger is a beautiful plant. I did several videos on it last summer. I never found information on using the root as soap. It is edible - root (bitter) leaves and stalks can be cooked to impart ginger flavor. And the leaves traditionally used to wrap meat in underground ovens. Flowers are edible also. I personally haven't tried to eat any of it. Did you like it as a shampoo?

    I guess it depends on your location / climate , A planted rhizomes in February and one of the plant is pushing a flower
