Red potatoes seem more exciting than white potatoes when it comes to growing them for some unknown reason!! LOL!!

😊 it just so happens that I'm in from pulling a short row. Nestled in the dirt and covered with round bale waste. Easy picking courtesy of Ruth. Mine were picked cuz their being ravaged by insects. Picking the ones that are just about stems only 😅. Happy so far, I'm pretty sure we'll have more than we put down. Looking good Wayland 👍 enjoy them taters.

I’ve always had the same luck with potatoes in containers. I get back what I put in😂

Those protein tubs run from 3 to 10 bucks depending on location and who you know. I've got some some vintage tubs that are blow molded and near quarter inch wall thickness. The new injection molded one's are a lot lighter. Craigslist farm and is where a person can find them.

Deep mulch potatoes are the best way. I got like 10lbs of just a few plants

Since I didn't fertilize they didn't get as big as I would have liked and it was a bit cool in the mornings for the stand alone containers.
