Harvest Right Vacuum Error #9 - Part 2
We have started getting vacuum error #9 during the freeze and dry cycles.
In this series, we will be going over the steps we are taking to solve this problem.
I have seen lots of posts about this same error, and some still don't have any solution for the problem.
👉 The Freeze Dryer we have was manufactured in April 2022.
👉 We have only had it for a few months
👉 Currently we have completed 58 batches

The thing is you have no problem with a leak in your machine. anything below 500 mt is considered a good machine. when it won't get to or below 500 is the problem. I can't get my machine to go below 1100, This is a big problem. the machines are programmed to issue an error if the MT goes above 900 MT when drying. The newer software versions allow the machine to go to 1500MT while drying, but this new band-aid software fix for a hardware problem is just that a band-aid and the quality of the product suffers.

I was using version 5.1.16 and finally fixed the problem, as 3 places leaked. once they were fixed it worked like it should. I recently upgraded to version 5.1.24. I have seen a new freeze dryer by 4 Patriots. It is a little more expensive. One of the differences is the pump is internal to the unit. I haven't looked into very much, but for anyone looking to get into freeze-drying, I would at least check them out.
