I've been waiting half a week for the full moon so I could record this one! Even ordered myself a little something to make it a bit more authentic. See if you can spot it in the shadows/silhouette.
Then whatdya know, the best shot is at a lake, but the park is closed. I snuck over to the dock.. had to risk it for the biscuit. As a result, I couldn't stay too long and the take isn't perfect. Buuuut the moment was captured! Hope that transfers thru your screens! Cheers!!

i love field recordings! and I LOVE this. I just absolutely enjoy the way you love playing and singing, recording, sharing, caring - THAT IS THE SPIRIRT! Wonderful rendition of a difficult song! And YES! I adore that harp addition! The audio came out really good! Marvelous, Chris~

Thanks, Joo! This comment inspired me to hit the beach last night for my 645 entry 😁 I'm gonna keep getting better at the harp AND my clawhammer!! I love the Seasons coz it always provides a safe place and inspiration for me to learn, improve, and grow.

Thanks for recognizing that, Casper! I don't often put toooo much extra effort in, aside from the sporadic multi-track. For this one, I bought a dang harmonica in the right key, had to get a neck holder, wait for the full moon, find a decent location, go to a closed park, after hours, walk to and set up at the little pier, and shoot in the dark, near midnight. Kinda wild, but tons of fun!!
Great choice of song Chris, Neil Young has always been a big favourite of mine. Your cover is very good, the song certainly suits you, thanks for bringing it. Don’t think I’ve heard you play harmonica before.

You're right! My first time trying the harmonics with uke. I hadn't played one in years (and didn't play much before either), but Neil brought it out of me. Definitely needs more practice, but it was fun! I like Neil's stuff a lot too... glad to have a Season to get this one down!!
Not a NY fan, but 't is a good song!
