In terms of her "miserable" responses during the senate hearing, you need to read a book. These universities have said it's their responsibility to uphold the first amendment and allow all kinds of speech as long is it isn't targeted, even if it's abhorrent. Look up "pure speech" and the difference between protected and unprotected speech.

I’ve seen some academics speaking out about this but not taken a great deal of interest in the detail, but when the President of a University has plagiarise, this cannot and must not be allowed to go unchallenged - a review of how universities are running their PhD programs is necessary.

My first reaction when Hamas attacked Israel was to condemn Hamas. My second was to shut my mouth, because I was absolutely certain that Israel was going to do something certainly not less abominable in response. when all you have been shown is privilege and preference based on unearned traits it must seem like discrimination to be held accountable for your actions. Even with her horrible job performance and history of cheating the Harvard leadership stood by her until donors started to pull out.

"until donors started to pull out" -- Harvard like many institution of higher learning in America is a business -- a for-profit business. This young man referred to Harvard as a "corporation". How do you stop amoral, unethical, corporate behaviors and actions? Boycott their products -- don't enroll to attend Harvard and pull your donations. If it engages in illegal actions, file civil complaints and bring criminal charges. When asked about the genocide of the Jewish people, Gay's answer was "it depends..." She needs to be permanently barred from being near any educational institutions; 10 miles ought to be enough, I think.

Can you imagine getting a DEI speech on privilege from a wealthy private school grad who was allowed into the leading universities despite not being impressive, then hired at those same institutions and elevated to the top over people who were far more qualified? I mean it’s the height of hypocrisy. Sadly, this is played out every day, with less notable people, and will never make the news or get corrected as was done here.

I hope Harvard becomes the "Bud Light of Universities" in the sense that it's an example to all universities. Change your messaging, change your focus (either on the product or REAL education) and NOT on dividing people.

She was given support by a group of 650 staff personnel at Harvard. However, nothing like several hundred million dollars (270 to be exact) that were withdrawn by wealthy Jewish donors.

If you're the president of harvard and under your tenure jewish people are physically threatened to walk in the campus and Jewish students reconsider applying to your university or donating any money you need to go. That would apply to any minority group in this situation.

So proud of the young man that was interviewed. Good for him! Do not mess with people because of the color of their skin and their religion. WE need to discuss issues and intellectual concepts on their own merits. Those that want others to be lesser than should not be celebrated.

Every professor that has urged her NOT to resign should have their tenure revoked pending a detailed performance review (based on actual merit) by an independent review board. ......And don't just stop with the Harvard faculty.

Well if that’s the case the donors must continue to remove their money from this institution. The University has in my view been irreversibly damaged anyway and I wouldn’t want any of my children to have their names tarnished by saying they were a student there.
