Not many people know this, but the same company that owns Milwaukee and Ryobi also own Hart Tools! So everyone that talks down on Hart because they think it's a "Walmart brand" are just wrong 😅 They just have a distribution contract with Hart is all!
The ratchets look like old Tekton or Kobalt. I agree with your Walmart comments. I would pick the Husky one just because of how easy a warranty is.
I have always seen the men in my life with tools between my great grandpa, grandpas, uncles, dad, and my brother. I personally am new to tools. I stared with Hart when I needed a drill to put together a wooden desk. I didn't know there was a difference between brushed and brushless, or that bits, extenders, blades, etc are kind of replaceable. The first time a bit broke I thought my set was done. I was ready to go buy a whole set so I had my whole set. I am so thankful for my Honey! He explained everything to me. Now I am a Dewalt Girl! Keep the reviews coming! They are super helpful!
I love the shake test on these tool kits. I hate when u get a set like this and the sockets go everywhere. Very nice job on the video keep up the good work!!!
best off with the $99 Huskey or craftsman or Kobalt sets. I personally have the Huskey set, and I like it.
Thanks for all the support and giving us a heads up on all the reviews you do. Keep up the Great Work!
I feel the shake test is the most important of all. Glad you do them.
I can’t wait for the custom set video. That’s the route I went with snd love to get ideas from others.
Very good review. I’ve seen them at my local Walmart and wondered how good this kit was. Thanks for the giveaways.
I appreciate your honest, real world reviews.
Thank you for all the tool set reviews lately. Waiting for the next one.
Very honest review.. I have been a Husky Tool or Craftsman fan for many year, Good Job. Thank you for doing the video.
Appreciate the review- I'm definitely leaning toward the Versastack
Great review as always, you have very good understanding of the tools and what we the customers want to know. Keep up the good work.
As I was going thorough the other like channels your honesty of whatever tools you show and rattle up them cases. Your doing great, don’t stop. 😎

Great review on this Hart set. I saw it just went on sale and was curious about it compared to the Husky set! Great video and thank you 🇺🇲💪
Looking forward to your next videos, especially your custom set. Great content as always man!
Great reviews. It's nice to see the range of socket sizes and skips. Keep up the good work.
Another great review man! These videos are super useful and don't have useless filler, exactly like a good tool set!

I appreciate it. We all hate that filler haha.
Great content man! I've watched all of your reviews on tools boxes so I know what to get for gifts! Keep it up man!
I found what I think is the absolute best tool set there is. Not the quality really but what you get is far beyond what anybody else has.

Which set are you referring to?
Thank you for your reviews and tools. It has given me a better view on them and see what's good and what to buy
This is a great set to just throw in the back of my truck and keep just in case. If someone breaks down and needs tools, I've got them and not too worried if they get stolen or even worse, break. Decent starter set for my son as well to learn with.

Yep totally agree.
Thanks for showing us the Hart Tools from Walmarts. Keep videoing
I purchased the Craftsman set due to a recommendation from here. The pro and con arguments were laid out very well.
Great vids bud! Just bought this, and I’ve been wondering whether it was a good buy or not. I saw the Husky set today and I like it. I think I’ll keep the Hart because of the 90 vs 72 tooth ratchets. The lack of wrenches is sad, the double allen wrenches is kind of disgusting. Oh well, $98!
Nice video, that additional set of hex bit sockets is a plus.
Thank for the Hart review. Sounds like the perfect set for my wife just to keep her out of my tool box! Thanks again!

Lol. Its one when co workers borrow tools. But your wife borrowing tools and not returning them. I draw the line . Lol. Have a great day as always
Still really like that Craftsman set, and I already have the VersaStak system so it would fit nicely!
I’d love to see you take a ratchet from each of these sets and see which ones take a beating the best. My wife got me a set after I watched a few of your reviews, I used to just keep a small Stanley set in my van. So thanks for the inspiration haha
The craftsman 216 piece set still at least to me is your best bang for you buck only downside to me is the 12pt 1/2 sockets
Yeah, one of the things that makes me like the gear wrench set that I'm thinking of getting that similar in size, after looking at your review is the fact that I can open one drawer and probably break something loose for a bolt. Bolt. Yeah, you're not going to always need the screwdriver for your sockets but a lot of times it's really all you need is to just break something loose and then loosen it by hand. And sometimes pulling out a whole set to to do that is a little bit much when you have to open up 2 to 3 drawers to get what you need to get.
@projectkarr
2 жыл бұрын
Ya I definitely lean towards the sets that allow you to just take a drawer with you instead of having to take everything since it’s all mixed.
I have enjoyed the Hart lawn tools and some of there hand tools. For DIY, they have a good set up if you know what to look for. I have bought some of there tools and have enjoyed using them.
Thanks for the doing these types of video. I really like that Craftsman tool box kit. Wish it had the 6 point 1/2 sockets buy for that price it makes sense.
@projectkarr
2 жыл бұрын
Ya unfortunately it seems like most of the sets have all 12 point 1/2” sockets.
Cool review looking forward to the next one.
I have the smaller mechanics socket set and not one issue yet.
I have really been enjoying the videos. Keep it up.
Great reviews. By the time I decided to purchase the craftsman set, it was sold out everywhere.

Ya I just noticed that when I was looking.
I bought a Bostitch 235 master set from Wally*World back in the beginning of 2015 on sale for $69... I have used it extensively throughout those years. I still have it and use it; it has paid for itself so many times over at this point. That was a killer value.

That’s awesome. Have you ever had to warrantee anything out and if so, how was the process?
@corpsepenis
2 жыл бұрын
@@projectkarr I actually haven't, although I might contact them about the 3/8 ratchet soon, as I might have exceeded its capacity one or five times (still works but is getting a little finicky). I also busted a nut driver socket but that was easily my fault of trying to use it in an impact on a pinch, maybe they'll replace that too (although I don't have the broken one anymore). I do have a tendency to beat the crap out of these tools, I'm surprised they're holding up so well.
I got the Versastak for my brother. He helped me out a lot earlier this year with some family stuff, plus, I’m tired of going over to help him out with something and he doesn’t have the right tool. I think Craftsman is on the right track and I’m hoping their warranty (should he need it) is going to be an easy process. If Ace or Lowes won’t do it, Craftsman claims on the website that it’s easy and no questions asked.

@@projectkarr Well, they are opening a plant over here in Fort Worth. They’re supposed to be making sockets and (I believe) ratchets there. We’ll see how that goes.
@projectkarr

@@JakeNaughtFromStateFarm I saw that and their add saying “Chroming Soon.” Seems like they will most likely be finishing tools instead of actually making them. Hopefully I’m wrong.
Thank you for a great video! Nice set to carry in the truck or car for emergency repairs.
Enjoy the reviews. I can see where that Hart set would be handy in a pinch, but nothing to write home about
I’m sure the warranty process would be similar to Gearwrench. Have to wait a while for your socket when compared to: Tekton, Craftsman, Husky, Kobalt etc they are much easier to swap.

Hey cool review. Just wanted to let you know about Hart and there warranty. I bought there 68 piece impact driver set for my DCF 840. And the half inch socket adapter snapped like a twig first time using it. Kinda bummed me out. Called Hart to see if I could get just the new adapter, and they sent me a whole new set! I was like cool thanks! I told them they could just send me a new adapter and I would have been happy. So they seem legit with their warranty. And I received the replacement set in a couple of days. That Craftsmen set is nice, been eye'n the gunmetal set my self at Lowes.

Thank you for your reviews.
Not bad for Hart tools, nice set.
Thanks was bout to pick a set up as well
It would make a good set to have in the vehicle when traveling.
Love the vids my guy!!
Still absolutely love that 216 piece craftsman. Want it haha
I went into Home Depot to see what was left over since Black Friday & man there ain’t much for tools all the husky kits are gone & only the gearwrench set is there, needless to say I left with a Christmas tree 😅

Hart tools are pretty decent, I have some smaller sets from them and they’re not too shabby. Like PKarr said, warranty although lifetime, is probably going to be a pain to deal with.

Haha agreed.
I prefer the Hart $98 kit, because it stayed together when you shake it. The husky didn't stay together without using that liner. For $239. So Hart is my choice
I've been eyeing that craftsman set since last year partially because I have tstak and versastack ( same thing) boxes. I've been hearing thinks about for with that set not fitting the rest. I plan to take one of my boxes with me to try it out.

Just got the walmart 270 set, during black friday online sure didn't want to deal with people inside the store it's always high stress going in lol 😬
Not crazy about Hart tools but the quality of the case is impressive
Craftsman VersaStack is a nice tool set.
Thanks for the review. I don’t know which one to get. I want a tool set with a good box and a lot of sockets, and not screwdrivers bits. Looks like Craftsman 216 is the winner, but all out of stock in my area.

nice review.
Bought a black friday tool deal from Home Depot I got the DeWalt 226 piece mechanics tool set in the Toughsystem tool box. Had an issue right out of the gate with the lowest tray that holds the deep sockets being broken when I opened the tool box. And then found out that DeWalt does not warranty the trays only the tools in the tray also the toolbox is not covered under the factory warranty. Home Depot did make it right by giving me a partial refund for the damaged box as they were out of stock of the tool sets and were unsure of when they would get more so I will have to see if I can repair the tray with some epoxy. Overall I am happy with the set based on how complete it is and the small amount of filler that was included with the box.

@@projectkarr Wish I could post the pictures I took of the damage but not able to on here. The tray was broken into 4 pieces. The tray had the entire center section busted out of it and the center part was broken into 2 pieces so it was a bit of a jig saw puzzle to get back into the proper position but I now have it epoxied back together so I will see how it works once the epoxy fully sets and cures. I will put the sockets back into the tray in the morning after allowing a few hours for the epoxy to fully setup.
Not something I would invest in personally, but better quality than I expected from Walmart 🤔. Great video as always, audio is better today also 👍
I just picked one up
