Harsha Bhogle's tribute to Richie Benaud & Tony Greig on their birth anniversary

Спорт

Richie Benaud and Tony Greig are two voices that are synonymous with cricket, all over the world. They are not there with us anymore, but Harsha Bhogle wants to remind us how good they both were, and that our sport is poorer without their presence in the commentary box.

And perhaps we get the same feeling while listening to you Harsha. You always bring the calmness of Benaud and excitement of Tony in your voice. A bright sunny english summer day test match and listening Harsha is pure divine.

And, then there is Harsha Bhogle; who not just brings excitement to the game, but also there is a charm in his narration, a wit in his humor, and more importantly an unbiased nature that makes him the very best presenter of the game we worship so much.

" Umpire bansal has given mcgrath out, and the whole of bengal is on their feet ". He was the best i have come across, in terms of generating sheer excitement. Mainly through words And what do i say about The Legendary Richie. He was the epitome/pioneer of being kind, and saying just enough. Not a word more, neither less. Just enough. And just before the bowler would start bowling, he would let silence take over - to familiarise creatures near and far to the pure sounds of the game. And then he would resume. One who would make everyone fall in love with the magic of his voice and all that he uttered
