any pedals and stuff can be a "noise generator" if you put a little thought into it! Just buy a bunch of cheap crappy pedals, guitars, and cables and have fun. Seriously I love doing the opposite of music because just bathing in noise feels so good and it's different every time

Too right it's different everytime. Especially if you use feedback loops or No input mixing. The type of cable, the length of cable and the power supply all have a subtle interplay. Because you're invariably using high gain, electro magnetic interference comes into play, so atmospherics affect it, mostly humidty/pressure.

Well I just assumed musicians making actual music wouldn't be using this due to it's awful tone and would instead be putting their money towards something more useful for music.... like an analog synthesiser.

UksiHattu12 Well noise is a little strange, but the saying "don't knock it 'till you've tried it" is especially true with noise production haha. Give it a try, who knows it might be fun!
