Harry Potter Inspired - Hog's Head Inn - Wizarding Village and Pub Ambience - Fireplace, Rain 1 Hour

The Hog's Head Inn is a slightly disreputable inn and pub in the all wizarding village of Hogsmeade. The Inn is owned and operated by Aberforth Dumbledore, Albus's younger brother. A worn-out wooden sign hangs over the door, advertising with a wild boar’s head. It’s known for its cheapness, at least relative to the Three Broomsticks down the street, and according to Albus Dumbledore attracts an interesting clientele.
The bar in the Hog’s Head is small and extraordinarily dirty and strewn with sawdust, with the windows nearly opaque and the floor all but invisible beneath the dirt. The entire room smells strongly of “something that might have been goats.” Even the rags behind the bar seem filthy; at one point, as Aberforth Dumbledore continued to wipe a glass, Harry Potter noted that it seems to be getting dirtier...
The Hog's Head is known for being the kind of disreputable establishment that the shady type like to frequent. Due to the shadiness of the place, it is somewhat a sense of fashion for the customers to keep their faces hidden, and Aberforth had never had a large number of customers inside at once prior to the recruiting meeting of Dumbledore's Army.
Despite being such a run down and visually unappealing avenue, it has been the place of a fair share of remarkable events, including: the making of Harry Potter's prophecy, the revelation of how to get to the Philosopher's Stone, the first gathering of Dumbledore's Army, etc.
Harry, Ron and Hermione has sneaked into Hogsmead while Voldemort ruled the wizarding world, and was saved by Aberforth and his goat patronus. Although rough around the edges, Aberforth is a brave and kind old man. He sent the trio down a secret tunnel connecting the Hog's Head to the Room of Requirement at Hogwarts safely.
I have always viewed the Hog's Head Inn as an immensely intriguing and oddly comforting place. Sure it is a bit dusty and its patrons are a bit shady, but because of Aberforth Dumbledore, I know I will be safe under his care. So tired travelers, please come in. Have a glass of Firewhiskey by the bar, and tell us your story...

THANK YOU SO MUCH. Were all trying to quarentine so wrote don't spread the virus (since some can carry and show no symptoms) so we don't overwhelm our hospitals and health careworkers!!! (Just google the situation in Italy right now everyone)

@@asmrroomsofficial I'm actually in California, la county (!) but my parents have very close friends in Italy. Theyre saying not to panic but that the reality is the situation is very dire and they're overwhelmed, and the medical professionals from Italy and Spain are talking to one another but they are so incredibly busy. They're also saying this could be catostophic everywhere it is if early preventions aren't taken seriously. There have been people in their 30s (incredibly healthy gym goers) that are dying. The biggest reason is because there's so few resources in comparison to the number of sick so they don't have enough to treat them for example, respiratory machines. Also younger people tend to believe their immune so its not taken as seriously at first (timing is extremey extremely important). Also its hard for people to understand just how contagious it is at first, coupled with the fact people can carry it w no symptoms. Share with your friends pls.

I LOVE the new video, Claire! Fire crackling steadily in the background...occasional footsteps outside...very few voices. It matches my view of the inn perfectly. To me, the Hog's Head Inn always seemed like a curious place, where people went to gather themselves quietly, gearing up to deal with whatever was next in their lives. I haven’t read Harry Potter for the first 13 years of my life, and I deeply regret it. Quarantine has me stuck at home, and I finally managed to tell myself that I couldn’t go any longer without reading Harry Potter. And man. . . That was the right choice. I listen to your sounds as I read (I’m currently on Order of The Phoenix) and it’s so relaxing and calm. I feel like I’m in the Harry Potter world, and it’s wonderful. Thank you ❤️
