Spoiler alert! in year 2 you get to choose who you want to go with you in one of the curse vaults. CHOOSE BEN COOPER! I choice penny and ended up loosing 50 points. the professor said that had I had choicen ben, they might not have even known. I saw on a video later that when you do choose ben the professor said they know it was me but they have no proof so she didn't take any points away. the Hufflepuff in me desired to share this knowledge so someone out there can make a better choice than I did. and prevent loosing points where ever possible. Same here. Ben Copper is who my character chose as well while Rowan Khanna and Penny Haywood rescue as many Professors and Students as possible from The Cursed Ice. Erika Rath was not pleased to deal with The Cursed Ice trapping her and the rest of her Quidditch Team in The Quidditch Changing Rooms, that's for sure.

At 1:29:19, you did the right choice when you took Ben. I chose Penny for this quest and I lost 50 points at 1:44:38 (thanks to McGonagall...). Apparently, only Ben can not make you lose points. (Great video by the way! 👍🏻)

Yes, because you have a talk with the person you've chosen (as you can see from 1:31:37 to 1:33:35). I chose Penny because I've picked Ben during my first year and I wasn't friend with her (I am a Hufflepuff and I wanted to pick someone from another house at the time). I became friend lv2 with her after this discussion. I just want to add that Dumbledore gave me 50 points at the end. So, despite McGonagall's sanction, I won the House Cup. :) I hope I helped you!

When Ben tells me and Bill to leave, he kind of commands you to leave. He says I'll clear away the tracks for what we've done. Bill, however, thinks this a bit suspicious. He says that Ben is good at covering up tracks. Ben ignores Bill and hurries them out so they won't get told off. This is slightly sus to me...

Dammit I thought pointing fingers at Merula would get me to lose points. I choose the other and I lost damn 50 points.

i just played and was at the part where mcgonnagal asked if i wanted to take the extra classes but i had to choose no because my knowledge points weren't high enough. i should've went to charms first because during charms i got to level 7 and now i want to cry because i couldn't take the extra classes...

Thanks for playing the game so others don’t have to, and thanks for all the jump cuts. I tried the game but just kind of gave up after a while cause of all the time it takes to restore energy and simply move along with story progression, however one hour and 45 minutes is much easier to handle, so thanks again for playing it for everybody else basically.

Erica Ladra take more lesson with 8 hours and it will take 4 hours or less to finish without using the real money .. just chek the game each hour or hour and half that7 you will have enough charged power then it will take 5 mint then complete what ever you are doing

spoiler alert. you eventully get to choose to ignore filtch or distract him when he lectures on how he is going to keep a sharp eye on you. choose to distract so your charater tricks him into staying in his office so snape doesn't catch you. this prevents you from loosing 50-80 points.

What will happen if Gryffindor wins about last minutes about breaking the hogwarts rules and then Slytherin as lost?

I really think merula isn’t acually her I really feel that she is using polyjuice potion just by the way I see her hair just like in the Harry Potter movie when their hair started changing a different color idk I think she’s gonna play a big part in something once the truth comes out

In year 2 chapter 5, during the potion class, when Snape asked about the ingredients, I chose the 2nd option i.e. I don't know and I lost 50 points. Is there any way to recover the points so that I could win the cup at the end of the year.

in year 2 you should do some side quest, it will give you a little house points as rewards +10 also you're still in early chapter :) so at least be worried in chapter 10 after you meet dumbledore, good luck !

just make sure you don't enter the great hall after chapter 10, because you can still increase the house points in classes ! so check your points and make sure you're #1 before enter the great hall :)

William flying lesson will increase the energy level but only the main lesson not the extra lessons so you can have +1limite energy for each flying spell in this year maby some spical quest can give you extra +1 energy too but it doesnt happen to my untill know my energy level s 29 and am at the chapter 10 of 2nd year

I think they updated the amount of energy when you start from where it initially was (16) to where it is now (24) for more convenience for the players. After you take three flying classes, it would increase to 27. Hope this helped!

Does Flitwick not take away any house points even tho u disobey him?

i think yeah, he never take any house points so far.. i've tried different answer and still no cutting house points from him :)

@@user-po4ur3ln9e macgonagall took 5 points from me when she left me in charge of the backyard and an upperclassmen was bullying a freshman about not getting many points for their house. I fought him and said I was defending the younrger one.

i think something is wrong with my game? after meeting with rowan in the corridor with that frozen door in year 2 chapter 4, that quest still shows up in my "list", as if i never completed it! and it doesn't matter how many times i do it over and over again, the quest just won't go away and the game doesn't acknowledge that i've already completed it. now i'm stuck and can't get to the next chapter :( can someone help?

ahhh i think i got this problem on beta test, it's when rowan got attack from the ice and when you tried bring her back to hospital... it looping back to enter the corridor again right ??? if that's the problem then try this : 1. update the game to the latest version 2. if you link your account to fb then try to uninstall and install the game if i remember correctly i got this bug when i try play as ravenclaw, what house are you on ? i hope you can pass it, because it getting on my nerve back then :(

I-GGames thanks so much for trying to help! yes that's exactly the part i'm talking about, but i've already got the latest version of the game so there are no updates and i also already tried uninstalling and installing the game again but it's still the same. and yes i am in ravenclaw, is that really why it doesn't work? 😯 i guess there is no other option than to start a new game... and choose another house apparently (although i'm a ravenclaw myself) :(

aylin I'm Slytherin and I've got same problem, but with quest where you have to ask teachers and students about Ben.

What will happen if you bring Rowan or Penny on the ice breaking quest?

I choose Penny for my first play through and choose Rowan for my second play though
