@@lewischasen Given that this game starts you out seven years before Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone, it makes sense that they are not in it, because your character graduates before the first book or movie. However, in the game, you start Hogwarts in the same year as Nymphadora Tonks and Charlie Weasley. If you get sorted into Hufflepuff, you'll be with Tonks, and if you go into Gryffindor, you will be sorted there with Charlie Weasley (There he is on 0:24), and Bill Weasley too (He starts his third year when you and Charlie arrive).

The creators of the game have already stated in another announcements, that there's chances for you to return to Hogwarts to help out with the main story. Though they'll keep their best to keep it as canon as possible.

I’m currently playing and even suggested calling it “Beyond Hogwarts”. It’s a brilliant game with the exception of several related i”n game” pop-ups and exclamation points.

@@heirofthestars yeah absolutely, though it caters more for the sim kinda fans. I like it a lot. I just wish there wasn't energy. There are ways around it though but I 'dont' advise it unless you want to get banned and lose progress if caught.

They haven’t changed too much…wonderful to see them promoting it.

I played the game, a proud slytherinn

It's an ok game. You play student in Charlie's year, And you never see Luna or ginney. Most people get burned out by the energy demand and there's too many events at once sometimes and some quest don't match canon...or it's own time line sometimes. It's not free world but does offer some novel things.

1) the game wasn't for them then, many of us endured and are rewarded for that 2) makes sense we don't see them they came to hogwarts later in the story after Charlie and the mc graduated

Yes you will have to complete all 7 years in order to graduate, but don’t worry, take your time, I’ve been playing this game since release and I’m about to end year 6 so yeah, I’ve taken my time quite seriously haha

Hogwarts mystery sucks so hard. Locked behind energy its ew. I much prefer magic awakened...but it has its own set of flaws. The gatcha system sucks the cards shouldn't have as many upgrades as they do. They split people kinda weird all in all though it's a MUCH better game than what they are promoting...ehhh

No, having them promote this won't change the fact it's still a trash mobile game.

For real, it's tragic how good this game used to be. JC isn't putting effort into ANYTHING lately. Releasing trash quests, trash chapters, horrible bugs that have been widely reported yet never fixed, the MC is fucking stupid, Jacob & Merula are dumb and a pain in the ass, romance quests being a fucking disaster and so much more. I miss what this game used to be

@@Jenny-gk6jqhe last quest was amazing and if you’re at year 7 interesting canon things will happen, you’ll even get a cutscene of your past when you discovered how to use magic for the first time I know they haven’t put much effort in the latest chapters maybe because they are putting most of their effort in Beyond Hogwarts, but this last chapter was amazing
