Very helpful instructional video the outcome was amazing! However I had issues with the spray adhesives and switched to my cordless hot glue gun and it saved me so much time. With the windows and doors open I think it affected the adhesive maybe?!? 🤷🏻‍♂️ but the hot glue gun worked amazingly. Now if you decide to stick with the adhesive, do use clear tape on the cracks between the panels or sheets of paper because the spray adhesive will make it through the cracks and you’ll have sticky adhesive on your ceiling. Thanks for your video!!

Use the Govee RGBIC versions of the lights, they can display multiple colors at the same time as opposed to these that are RGB and only display one color at a time

Oh fab ! I’ve only just taken mine down 😂 100% use the command strips. I was able to take it down in one bit and it’s folded up for next year. Ceiling in perfect condition

Because I don’t want it to stay up for ever. You’d have to rip the ceiling down , the spray on clouds would never come off. The boards protect the ceiling.

Yes. That’s why I used command strips. Just take down the boards. Fold up, ready for next year. Everything is stuck to the boards.

Where did you use the double sided tape? I didn't catch that

I loved them for xmas decorations, but I wish i used scotch tape, the suction cups take the paint off the ceiling

That’s why I added foam boards as a base. Using command strips to hold them up meant when I took them down the ceiling was perfect. I had so many query why I used boards. Thanks for the view and comment.

How did you get the led light strands to run different colors from eachother. I purchased the same led lights you recommended but both strings stay the same colors no matter what preset I choose. It’s awesome but I was hoping to have the strands be different

What's the benefit of using the foam board instead of just taping it to the ceiling? And would regular poster board work, or is there a reason it should be foam?

I used these boards so it’s easy to remove without ripping the ceiling apart. The tape would probably come off ok 👍 but you’d never get the clouds off, the glue doesn’t go through these boards. Foam boards are very light weight and up well with command strips. You can use what ever you want, I just wanted to be able to remove easily, not destroy my ceiling and be able to pack away and re-use.

@@kirstygriffiths749looks amazing…how did it not fall apart once you started taking it down as some of the clouds must be stuck over the joins of the boards? You can’t take the boards down one at a time with the strip lights and clouds stuck to them. Curious how you ‘folded’ it to store. Are you able to share a video of removing and storing it? Thank you

The strip lights have a sticky back, you just peel off and stick.

Did the led lights ever cause a fire with the cotton clouds??
