I remember not being sure if the kids would be recast at some point. But, I’m so glad that even the supporting characters (i.e. Seamus, Dean, Goyle, etc.) weren’t recast.

When I think about it, the movies first started in 2001, I was 9 years old in 4th grade. I read all the books after seeing the first movie, including reading the end of the 1st book after seeing the first movie. I am now nearly 22 still watching these videos. I've grown and changed so much drastically in my life, gained and lost interest in things, yet i still love harry potter!

i'm not sure when i was a fan. I was 3 in 01, but i think i like the movies when i was young. I really wanted to read the books because both my brother an sister did it. The first point when i really could consider myself a harry potter fan was probably The Goblet of Fire. The Order of the Phoenix was the first movie i saw that i had read the book first. I went to the very first screening at midnight for the 6th, 7th, and 8th movies. Now though, i wish there was more. I haven't thought about harry potter in maybe a year. All that dedication, i use to even dream harry potter, and i read and reread the books at least 15 times. Whenever i think about it, i get so sad that its over ;(

Movieandmidnight I watched the 1.Movie at the age of 8 and the others at the age of 11. After I watched the Movies I read the books.At thiß Moment I'm 13 and I'm so obsessed with this hole franchise.And it's a bit funny that my friends don't understand why I'm crying when I watch or read the Harry Potter Books and Movies. But I Love it

I still have tears in my eyes when I watch this video. I was 12 when i read the first book. I grew up watching the movies and then reading the books. I always felt like a part of the trio when i was younger. I have seen the movies countless time and reread the books too. This will be close to my heart Always

Same. Deathly hallows will always be my infinity war and endgame. The hype around the movies then was just unmatched and we loved every second of it.

There goes my entire childhood, literally. The first book came out when I was only a few months old. I feel like I've just lost a big part of myself... But after all that I've gone through in the years with Harry Potter, I don't think I'll ever forget these amazing past fourteen years. I'm fifteen now, and I think... Even when I'm ninety, I'll remember Harry Potter. Thanks for these past fourteen years

Steve Castle order of the phoenix is the best for me.and the goblet of fire.and one of the reasons is because hermione was especially hot in those two

My parents don't like Harry Potter (my brother does but he hasn't read the books so it doesn't really count) and are completely confused as to why I love it so much even now, age 18, and every time I suggest we watch one of the films my mum is just like "no!" and refuses to even watch any of them, stating: it's stupid fiction crap. I can't explain how much I need this series so badly and how it instantly makes me feel better to someone who won't even try to understand it! Thank you JK Rowling! ❤️

daniel radcliffe and the rest of the trio completely deserve oscar recognition! they embodied the characters, and not only shaped, but coloured the childhood of so many. moreover, they are fantastic, grounded people, and great role-models. their story from anonymity to magical stardom is inspirational, and i would want nothing more than to meet them, dont you?!

This is the most epic thing I have ever seen! Not sure if my skin ever turns normal again...

I'm in the middle of rewatching all the movies right after the other right now! Lovvveee it. Just about to start Goblet of fire but i'm taking a break and found this. Damn it gave me goosebumps, even though i'm watching it now.

This is truly one of the BEST movie series EVER. It changed my life alot

Harry Potter & Transformers are my top 2 movie franchises.

This makes me so emotional every time I watch... it make look like 10 years passed in a blink. In my early days the time looked like don't pass, waiting for the books and films, studying, and other stuffs, and now I'm in the university and looking for a job, it seems that the time passes so quickly to anything! Maybe the day doesn't have 24h anymore...

I was like "oh this must've been recent." It came out in 2011. I'm watching this 9 years later. Ow the nostalgia.

Now the Harry Potter franchise is more epic than ever. I love this movie franchise. It's amazing!

Ah the nostalgia. I just wish the Harry Potter - Voldemort duels were done better. Every single time they were just pointing wands at each other trying to push the beams as hard as they could. David Yates probably watched too much DBZ.

I wonder how people will remember Harry Potter. Will it be compared to movies like starwars? Will people even remember it was a book first? The real questions is if people will remember it at all. I was a huge harry potter fan, and i guess i still consider myself one, but now that every book has come out and every movie is out, i think i'm starting to forget about it. Nothing new is happening for harry potter, and while i feel it was one of the best movie series in recent years, very few people seem to talk about it anymore (outside of harry potter specific things). I wonder if people are still becoming fans of this, if people even still watch the movies. If someone were to say in a video or such "man, harry potter, that was an amazing movie" no one would disagree, but they also wouldn't give such positive responses as other movies like terminator. I guess i'm focussing too much on the movie being remembered, but i feel movies are remembered much more than books are, even though the books were better than the movies. In schools, we read classic books, but i don't know of any school where they read a book from a series. Well, this is just me talking, spewing out my thoughts for the sake of it at this point. If anyone has read this far, leave a comment on your thoughts. You read this huge wall of text, so i'll be sure to read yours as well.

Many people have never seen the movies, or most importantly read the books and when they do they are overwhelm. Just a few months ago a very good friend of mine read the books and we spent hours talking about all the details that were left out of the movies.

I have just finished reading the first two books (i have always wanted to read the books when i was 12, i just don't have funds to buy the series) now that i could buy things for my self. These series will always be remembered i guess.

So emotional seeing this films since I was 6 and now it had finally ended :(

....This is so hard to watch knowing that it's all done. Absolutely unbelievable how quickly time flies. Still remember watching Philosopher Stone trailer on TV back in the 90s at the part when the Hogwarts letters were flying down from the ceiling and Harry was jumping, trying to catch one. Out of every cartoon, TV show, movie, song...from the 90s, this is by far the one that brings back the most memories of my childhood. Harry Potter. What an epic era. Never forget.

I've never read the books, nor have I ever really been a fan, but watching all of these videos actually made me cry - probably because as I was growing up all around me was the potter hype, I think I'm the only one in my family not to hve read the books, but I'm going to now:)

I literally cried when watching this. Harry Potter series is different from those movies I've watched. I feel so close with the people here. I've grown up with them. I can see how much they've changed. A part of me will always be there for Harry Potter - a part that is innocent, loyal and believes in magic. Now I'm touched when I see my nephew and my niece get thrilled to see this movie. For some of us, the journey has ended. But for some young people, the journey has just begun. Thanks a lot.
