You ladies are totally missing the mark. Invictus was not “started” by Prince Harry. Get your reporting straight. The reason Invictus had lost popularity is because it had become less about the wounded athletes and more about the Meghan Markle fashion show. The fact that money is going to Harry and Meghan for their outrageously over the top accommodations, food, transportation and of course her clothes is appalling . That money would be better served going to the veterans. And in no way should Meghan Markle be part of Invictus. She never served, she has no business marching with the athletes, giving speeches etc. Quite frankly, Harry and Meghan have corrupted the games and it just needs to be abolished instead of this slow demise and dwindling interest. It isn’t the lack of participation of the royal family that it hurting Invictus , it’s Harry and Meghan. If Invictus is to survive and thrive, they need a decent figure head , stop wasting their money on Meghan and make the games about the wounded athletes as it should be.

I disagree. She has been known as Kate all her life and we, the British people, knew her as Kate for 10+ years and it is used in most cases with affection. William called her Kate in their engagement interview and I am sure he still does as does her family. It was the Queen who thought it more appropriate to call her Catherine in public. It is respected to a certain extent as she was always Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and is now Catherine, Princess of Wales.

One MUST NOT EVER FORGET - H was a CO-FOUNDER of the Invictus Games. It was run by the BROTHERS and Catherine UNTIL H married the girl from California. It is unfair to keep saying it was the trouble maker who founded the games. I say this especially since the couple who chose to leave the family have decided to make the games more of a Markle show rather than what it was INTENDED to be - a way to support the military members who have been wounded. Steven Colbert did not apologize he just justified that saying it was in his monologue. He said he has a standard, he does not make light of someone else's tragedy. That is exactly what he did! Saying he upset people and he is sure he will upset people in the future, is not an apology. Makes me sad that is his standard. Just reinforced why I've never liked him.

What we have seen here in the US is that many supporters of the Invictus games are totally against Meghan's taking them over as a fashion show and deemphasizing the veterans that the games are to be supporting. People do not like that the Sussex family is draining financial resources from The Invictus Games by making exorbitant financial demands for clothing and accommodation allowances. When the Invictus games were up set by the royal family it was done to promote the veterans and not the royal family itself. Under Sussex control they feature Harry's wife and her clothing choices, attention getting behaviors and the veterans are pushed to the background which is not acceptable to many people.

My husband is a US veteran and he gets some medical care at our local VA hospital. All the veterans shake hands, all the visitors thank them for their service. No glitz and glamour, just respect for them serving our country. I was pleasantly shocked! Meghan makes a mockery out of those brave souls🙏😤😢

The message that the Sussex is sent out was definitely written by Meghan Markle. It was extremely disrespectful and it was condescending. We all know Megan is petty that way.

They called her Kate while calling themselves duke and duchess,and the message was demeaning,from them ,thay are done in the Uk !

Harry DID NOT create the Invictus Games!! He saw the Wounded Warriors Games in the US and went back to Britian and went to William and Catherine about the games he saw!! William and Catherine were in the planning and financial support for the games! They support Harry because it actually gave him something to do! He got a group to put the projects together! Then he patted himself on the back!! He needs to get control of Maegan and leave her home!! She had to have a $5000 hotel room, buying thousands of dollars of clothes. Now DARE her to march in front of the flag in her ill fitting shorts! Harry needs to get her undercontral!!!

Will you please get it right The Royal Foundation with William and Harry started the Invictus game. With help and support from HRH Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles. Jealousy? It's quite obvious is it not? American Celebs do not like being shown up by anyone. The Royals are Regal and really sophisticated individuals whom are dedicated to service to the people. No, Prince William and Princess Catherine will not be visiting with anyone, for it is rude to even ask for that privilege. Catherine's health is too sensitive. Exposing herself physically and emotionally is not wise. The R.F. is not public property. I think they need to be less accessible since what they do is taken for granted.

So why disrespect Megan by calling her Rachel when she asked the public 15 years before meeting Harry to call her Megan which is her middle name and working name, and Rachel is for friends and family which you are not. I’m an American who has lived in England for 20 years. I have come to very much respect the Monarchy. They are special and will survive the recent problems. Unfortunately, Harry has ruined his life, at least for now.

Invictus was celebrated until Meghan took over a starring role. She took Harry’s accomplishment and centered it on her…and invictus has suffered.

For all we know William forgave Harry long ago. But forgiveness doesn’t equal forgetting or a renewed relationship. Harry has shown he has a price. William would be a fool to ever let it appear that Harry had access to any inside information about William or his family.

The Invictus has been negatively affected because his wife has taken over - Harry's speeches were always about the athletes and their families but now she takes the mic and talks about Harry, their love . . . She doesn’t even wear clothes with the Invictus logo, its just one photo oportunity after another. And look how she marched in front of the athletes, not with them or behind them but ahead of them. Made it all about her! That switches people off.
