I speak from personal family experience here in the USA. ANY abdominal surgery that requires incisions through abdominal wall is serious. Time to recover is important, as there are possible complications from such a surgery that can debilitate a person even further and delay a return to "normal" even longer. Kate's medical advisors certainly gave her the best possible advice, for herself, her family and the people of the UK.

I had a Caesarian and was able to look after twins within two weeks. She is probably more than able to put a dress and some makeup and take a nice photo so a video. I don’t believe any of this for one minute. Something much more is going on that a simple (privately paid for high end all the trimmings) surgery because it’s common sense which Brits seem to lack a bit to often (eg brexit)

I believe if the health crises of King Charles and the Princess of Wales hadn’t occurred at the same time (with the official announcements from the Palace on the same day), there would be more news and updates from the Palace regarding her progress. Even though we love and adore the Princess of Wales the emphasis must be on the King and I’m sure that’s exactly how she wants it. May they both recover successfully. Many Blessings to all 💜

There’s not giving details and then there’s unusual silence towards a senior member of the royal family where there would usually be public statements wishing good health and a speedy recovery. The complete silence and seemingly disappearance of her kids and parents is very strange. A rumoured DSMA notice is also huge alarm bells if true, William using his own crest in a letter head as opposed to the Wales’ crest. Somethings up I hope they’re ok

I don’t see how Prince Andrew’s behaviour is any more scandalous than that of his forbear, Edward VII was especially when he was POW - he frequented brothels and was openly unfaithful to his wife, Princess Alexandra. I can’t begin to imagine being in the public eye to such a degree. I for one support their right to privacy when they have to deal with their own personal issues. They give so much in terms of their royal duties, the stress must be tremendous.

Some of my message is missing, what a mess !

Having recently undergone abdominal surgery for gallbladder, I can tell you the recovery was wretched, the worst being the absolute utter exhaustion following abdominal surgery and the very low levels of blood in your body. It has taken months for me to recover, and although I'm much older than Princess Catherine, it has been exhausting trying to recover.

Gallbladder surgery is a week recovery ( work in surgery) and does not take 2 months without other physical/medical issues to recover from. Unless you had the surgery many years ago when it was serious and not laparoscopic as is done now.

@@colleencostello6927 Yes apparently, IF a person has gall bladder surgery via a laparoscopic procedure they can leave the hospital the same day and back to their usual routine in 2-3 days according to a surgery specialist. Then elsewhere it states several weeks and up to 6-8 weeks before returning to your usual routine, depending on the severity of the surgery. It is never a one size fits all scenario. As we do not know what type of surgery was involved everyone is comparing stories about many different types of surgeries and the different scenarios.

Most abdominal surgery, especially when incision of the muscle wall is required, can be very painful, exhausting and takes time for the different layers of tissue to heal. It is also the emotional and physical stress on the body post surgery and is very individual for each person. 🌹

​@colleencostello6927 exactly. I had my gallbladder removed when it was still a very big cut and it took me à months to recover. I was about the same age S Catherine. In contrast, my friend, who had keyhole surgery was back at work as a hairdresser, a week later. It is no longer a huge operation.

I’m sure hall bladder wasn’t the issue for Catherine. I’m not certain but know that any surgery cutting through abdomen wall is serious and takes time to heal. I had my gallbladder removed. It’s sore and tender but nothing like serious abdominal surgery. Let’s hope for the best for princess Catherine

It's none of anyone's business why he was unable to go… He deserves at least a moment of privacy regardless of being the prince of Wales and having civic duties.

Current Counselors of State are HM the Queen, HRH Princess Anne and HRH Prince Edward. It's unlikely that either Prince Andrew or Prince Harry would be called upon should a CoS be needed to step in.

@@notagain779according to Harry. He thinks the reasons the press prints damaging news about Meghan and him must have to do with Camilla, or William and Catherine, and their influence. I believe the press is not so controlled. It is believable to me that Meghan and Harry are more likely the reasons for their own bad press. People notice snarky, snideness and gaslighting. I watched the snippet of Meghan gushing over two of her charming bridesmaids. It was thus a contrast to her treatment of Charlotte. The purpose of the selection of her friend’s daughters was to show appreciation for the friend to place her in the social circle that included Harry. But then Meghan gave Charlotte and her mother no liberties, with socks, or the seamstress, etc. Catherine had her own favorite seamstress with all Charlotte’s measurements, so when the dress was too big there was a disappointing result. Then Megan took offense that her chosen seamstress was faced with being replaced. With new connections there should be some tolerance for a different opinion. Catherine could have given Meghan smart advice learned from thirty years of private schooling and English society. Then Meghan stewed and wrote in her journal, while giving Harry the idea of writing his own memoirs. “The hand having writ, moves on.”

We New Yorkers are livid over the requirement for US to pay for Harry and Megan's security!! We are in a crisis here in Manhattan; homelessness, immigrants with no place to go and some violent. We are spending millions caring for them with no end in sight. The law enforcement has almost given up, retiring early and simply resigning. Visitors are few and far between out of security concerns and here come H&M asking for OUR money, and frustratingly getting it! They are millionaires, let them pay their own security fees!

Agree with you. They should pay their own! Just hope they don’t get IPP……then you will be paying mega bucks as they live in US. AND if they visit Australia (even uninvited, I think), we will have to pay their 24/7 security AND should the sidekicks mother travel with th3m…hers too!! I think we will be at the airport with a CLOSED sign! Grifters….

Thank you for sharing your experience with grief and reminding viewers of the series of traumatic events the royal family have suffered over the last 4 years, starting with Harry abandoning his duty and family, the death of the old Duke, followed by the death of the Queen , and now illness. The family has not had enough time to absorb the enormous amount of grief associated with these events. They must be exhausted as well! God save the King, and the wider royal family!

Meghan miscarried due to the stressful situation RF put her😢 in, the media has been exposed due to role they played.
