Harris Matrix
A quick and basic overview of the Harris Matrix method used within archaeology to understand a sites stratigraphy. The video explains the origin of the Harris Matrix and why and how the method is used.
The Harris Matrix is at first a complex system, which can often be difficult to understand, especially if the person has never been on an excavation. It is hoped that this video will help with the basic comprehension of the subject.

Interesante video, gracias a la Matrix Harris se puede recuperar toda clase de Información en campo desde las clásicas Unidades Estratigraficas (UE) y las Interfacies (a las que se les da un número de UE). Nota: Para armar el gráfico de la Matrix Harris, existe un programa informático que también se llama Matrix Harris, pero en mi opinión es muy limitado en las relaciones físicas entre UE. Prefiero usar otro programa como el Stratify.

Thanks for your comment. They are starting to develop better computer programmes. Makes things a lot easier and more efficient post-ex.
Muy interesante, aunque para contextos más complejos la interpretación de la matriz de Harris se vuelve un dolor de cabeza.
