During our week in Mooresville, NC, we couldn't leave town before visiting Pete Harrell and his shop, Harrell Engine & Dyno. We stopped by to see what engines Pete was building, what cars he was tuning and what other cool things he was working on. He was kind enough to give us the full tour.

Great guy very accommodating and humble, oh and good at doing stuff.
Pete is real good at doing stuff. Just don't let him take your lunch money and turn it in to beer money! ;)
Pete and his shop prove that the latest greatest machines aren't what make an engine builder great. The engine builder is what makes things great.

As is said.... common sense just isn't that common anymore ! Pete Harrell is one of the best/smartest around..... I won't get into it here, but we've gone back to stones instead of diamonds for Honing as well... the profilometer don't lie nor does the Dyno ! as far as I'm concerned a certain total ring company can take a long walk off a very short pier.
Stuff back in the day was made to LAST!! When it broke you fixed it and it lasted for decades. Now days everything is throw aways. If I wasn't 3 hours from him I would have take my Ls3 block to him.

Stay away from pete and anything he does. These guys dont give a shit about you. They shit me on an engine build and stole parts from me. Didnt put a single part in it that we agreed on. Lied about other parts used. I could write a book.
