thanks for the video - I bought this kit and the instruction manual was a mess.. the page number and language was all mixed up and it got me into a stressful nightmare.. the manual called to use the big round peace with 4 holes to be used for re-installation, but you just clarified the simpler way of installing them back.. thanks again!

I was camping at the lake at the top of a canyon. When I started to drive the next morning, the harmonic balancer fell off of my ZJ 4.0. I coasted down the canyon and then drove, coasted to O’ Reilly’s with no water pump, and changed it in the parking lot, but I wish I had a video then.

I recently purchased a 69 Chevelle. I had two of the pulley bolts break off inside the harmonic balancer. Who ever built the 427 crate motor must have not torked the bolts to specs and it caused these bolts to break. Needless to say I had a scream case of the redass but preceded to extract what was left of the bolt in balancer. With no luck I ordered a new harmonic balancer from summit racing. The problem I have is that the three bolts that you must use to pull the balancer need to go in the holes that the bolts are broken off in. So my only chance is to place helicoils in the same holes that the bolts are seized in and hope that the puller kit pulls the old harmonic balancer off. Any tips or suggestions are welcomed. Thanks

Why you replace the harmonic balancer?

Any reason you replaced it? Mine has visual wobble but runs fine. Should i replace mine too?

keep note, this kit will not work with a 1 piece pully/ballancer that the old ford trucks use 1999-2004.
