Harley Street Rod 750 - Is It A Good Beginner Motorcycle?

Follow me on Instagram: @jackiesmotogarage
Today I'm taking the Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 for a ride. As a beginner, I'm still learning what it's like to ride a motorcycle, so this ride and review is from a very rookie perspective. I'll go over the things I like and dislike about the motorcycle as well as gloss over the basic specs for the Street Rod 750.
Is the Harley Street Rod 750 a good beginner motorcycle, heavy, too powerful, awkward, slow, fast, too much power?

Whats nice about these Street bikes is that they were designed as Trainer bikes. the 500 is what Harley does their MSF/Rider academy on. 750 and StreetRod are step ups. So this is a pretty spot on bike for a beginner who doesn't exactly want to skimp on future power and highway either. These Bike's replaced the Buell Blast, a handful of years ago, and are super durable. There was a reviewer who had a crash on this same bike at like 60mph, and the bike was barely scratched up. This is a good kinda bike to get used too, it's a bit more performance oriented than the other streets, but you're basically riding THE trainer bike series from Harley.

You killed it Jackie! That's a very odd ball bike or better yet engine from HD so it's not going to feel anything like the 883, which I personal feel is a better beginner bike. Jon knows how to ride and you def don't need a thousand people telling you what to do but my only advice is just relax, it'll all be second nature before you know it. Too much thinking and white knuckling won't do a thing for you. In fact a good way to calm down before you jump on the scoot is to do a backflip off the roof haha. Good job Jackie and tell Jon to stop stealing your camera time with his Back to the future Michael J Fox bumper riding. Stay cool mamma

@@JackiesMotoGarage I just got my Motorcycle endowment two years ago at age 56 .. As a Teenager I out ran the Police 6 times on dirt bikes then got caught once when I was 16 years old on a Street legal Yamaha GT 80.. I put the GYT KIT in it and more than tripled the power with top speed gearing limited at 85 MPH.. It took 7 Cop cars and 14 Cops to catch me on a Friday evening.. Back then fleeing and eluding was only a Misdemeanor.. I don't think I even lost my License over that.. I did have to go to court however.. How times have changed.. at Age 17 I had a Yamaha RD 400 I could actually do a 1st through 3rd gear wheelie on even though I was not smart enough to cover the rear brake pedal with my Foot.. I test rode an Indian FTR-1200 .. a really fun Bike .. For now have a Yamaha FZ-07 with side cases top cases luggage rack and windscreen .. I take it on long distance camping trips.. My most recent girl friend has panic attacks just looking at a Motorcycle ..She says when she was 7 years old she was riding on the back of a bike with her father in the Yard and he crashed in the wet grass.. I got a new Z-28 Camaro when I was 18 years old .. Turns out most Fathers would not let their daughters ride on my Motorcycle .. I guess the car was safer had a decent bake seat good brakes upgraded suspension and could do 150 MPH .. that was in the days before so many Morons were texting and talking on their cell phones.. But I am in Michigan no CA where Road Rage is such a big Problem too .. I hope you will advance to 3rd and 4th gear soon ..
