Watching your video made me order them for my 2015, now they are installed. For me it was easier following your video than reading at the instructions manual. Thanks alot.

Very good, realy excelent. Watching this movie was enought for me in onder to install my luggage rack. I did it by my self.

Thanks man! Very helpful and saved me about $350 as quoted by dealer to install. Here's my hint: once you drill the pilot holes, place the drill bit in the hole from the top. This gives you a great perspective of the angles for drilling the main holes.

Im just going to spray paint the rack matte black before i put it on.

Bought the kit(s) but can’t bring myself to drill 1/4” holes in the beautiful fender 😩 Also the rack is nice and light but the back rest is crazy heavy like it’s made of lead.

Yup!! worst part is that there is no going back, you can't go back fill up the drill should you decide to take it off :-( ...

Ok so i bought a night rod with one of them instead as i dont have use for the luggage rack im wondering how would i cover the 3 holes if i was to take off the rack , any tips ?

@Keith Farmer thanks!! No bud, after exploring options, I decided to keep it as it is. Plastic Matte paint, vinyl wrap are two options I know, both are easy to do, sort of DIY, however I am not sure how reliable they are this being rack(useless), but once in a while gets used like that. I hate chrome feel, but decide to keep it as it is for the time being. If you find any good solution, do share back - thanks!

I think I am going to black Plasti-Dip the rack so that I can peel it off if ever I want to go back to OEM.

will this fit on 2011 night rod special??

The stock one you can’t, I wish there was some option like that. I am sure though some after market might meet the need. Also I learnt post my installation that in Vrod/nightrod forums lot of genius build custom accessories, you may wanna try there too .. cheers!

@@Tasteofgyan i feel like u can put a spacer to where the seat attaches undernearh the rack ive seen a dd build and he had just the rack i ended up getting mine powdercoated black buts its not thr bussiness atm

:-) This happened to be one of those videos which was required to be tad longer than usual to cover adequate details .. hard to voice over this long duration and probably not worth it .. I just hope it gave enough visuals to build confidence DIY .. Appreciate the interest and feedback !!
