Definitely looks a lot cleaner. I have an 08 night rod special getting ready to do some of the same mods, just got through with stage 2 cams and injectors.

How do you wire the standard indicator with 3 wires to the new one with 1 wire??

is that handlebar comfortable for long trip? im 6 feet and 4 inch, the stock handlebar makes my back sour when riding more than one hour

I've done many of these projects on my 12 VRSCDX. A few comments for those who may do any of these. Buy a Harley pin tool and connectors and go to the harness when you wire, you will save hours on this project and have a professional job. Always Put a fuse in 5A over the battery charger rating in line on your battery charger lead.

little secret on the handlebar wiring: there is a tab in the connector, pull it out and you can remove the wire including the pin so you don't have to cut and resolder the wires ........( make note were what wire goes in the connector...)

you cannot use the stock exhaust gaskets with DanMoto. You need to buy Cometics C9928 gaskets

Hey, need help installing my led tail light, it was sent to me without instructions. Given that the turn signal cable is also the brake light, my brakes are yellow instead of red. How did you managed to get the brake lights to be red and not get overpowered by the yellow?

sorry dont have lin but everything its from ebay. for danmoto exhaust its good , i am happy with sound . not so good like vance hines but for 300usd you have simmilar product

Henry HPH I noticed you have uneven tire wear, where the rear tire is wearing more on the left. Did you ever get that looked at? Mine is doing the same thing.

The wiring through the handle bars has no outer sleeve to prevent their insulation wearing through where they will rub on the edge of the holes in the bars. If it doesn't rub, wear through & short out then you got lucky.

Do the mirrors hit the tank or knees?

Well, people I'm gonna put it like this, a lot of people are making videos about their vrod,s ,well, I think is in it's own right, I just read something that Harley davidson is putting out a possible aftermarket belt driven impeller supercharger, well, I guess it will apparently work, and to my own opinion, I don't like it at all, their supposedly mounting it in the wrong place, for what the general public of Harley davidson vrod bike riders that have made the vrod out to be what they want it to look like, considering the old traditional style that the original Harley davidson has been for years, well, that's ok, if that is what you want, apparently not everyone wants the old traditional version, I am one of those who can admire the bike from a distance, with out ever sitting on it, and considering known existing bikes that are around the country, I'll take the vrod over the traditional any day of the year, and for the gas tank being under the seat, o well what ever, but if Harley davidson bike is gonna have a supercharger on it, then some one should replace the top tank/air breather out for a supercharger in it's place, placing an supercharger on top where the air breather is, that would make 500 more sense, all they have to do is gear it up ,anyone ever hear of 45 degree gearing and belt drives, believe me, it's very possible, if I had a vrod and the other equipment I would be doing something about it, I think that's why they call it engineering and design, wayneeden95@gmail.com
