Greetings, as a longtime and knowledgeable motorcycle fanatic congrats on your new bike . However, you seem very mystified by your new purchase. Allow me to shed some light . The weight is not all that light, Harley's are overweight cruisers so if you are used to those a average weight bike will feel light. I have a Kawasaki ninja sportbike currently, so not exactly sure what the weight of your bike is, but without checking I would guess around 480 to 520 pounds. The high pipes are designed that way so when you ride off road you don't hit the pipes against rocks and other terrain. Honda dual purpose scramblers from the 1970s had high pipes like your new bike, and also a spark arrester to prevent igniting any dry bush when riding off road. Also, rest assured that bike has a higher top speed than 70 mph. On any " standard" street bike or dual purpose adventure bike you are " perched" more on it as opposed to sitting low on a cruiser. The reason for this is dual purpose bikes have a higher ground clearance so when you are riding off road you don't hit rocks or other terrain. I applaud you for trying something different, I think in time you will grow to love the triumph. Note as you ride it it is far more manuveable than your Harley. Keep your videos coming, they are fun to watch and stay safe. Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as your out their riding that’s all what matters. All in the eye of the beholder
Never apologize for evolving from being a "biker" to a "motorcyclists" - I'd take the Triumph over a Harley Dyna any day. That Triumph is beautiful and stylish for sure.
I've had my Scrambler 1200XC since early June of this year, and I just rolled past 10,000 miles on my way to work this morning. I've owned and ridden many varieties of bikes over the years, but my favorites have always been Triumphs. I'll never get near a Hardley Ableson again.
"I used to be a Harley only rider like you, then I took a Goldwing in the knee"...Congrats on the new bike, you do seem to enjoy it a lot!
Congrats Jess! The Scrambler 1200XC is an awesome bike - I got mine in July! The classic looks, torque/power, sound, features, and riding comfort (I'm 6'2" with a 34" inseam) are awesome. Just one test ride and I was hooked! - I never imagined one bike could check so many boxes. I live in northern Ohio farm country and this type of bike is the perfect fit for the type of roads I ride on.
Your motorcycles are so pretty and cool. The scenery that passes back and forth on your motorcycle is so beautiful. I'm glad to see your channel again. From Woongkham, a South Korean KZreadr. 🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍
On a naked bike you feel....well naked. I had a cruiser and I used to wear just a jacket and jeans, I traded for a supernaked and all you see is pavement. After that I went and got proper riding boots and riding pants to compliment that jacket. Also you can adjust the bars so you sit on the seat and not the tank. I thought you said you bought that bike..... Wipe shaving cream on both sides of your visor, and spread it all over, then don't rinse it just remove it with a paper towel, your visor will be fog free for about a week then just repeat the process. I do that and it works great.
My first Triumph was a 1962 TR6 650 now I ride a 2018 Triumph Bonneville T120. But the Triumph you will love it!!!
So cool! I think this is a great addition to your stable. I got a good laugh from the outtakes as well. 😂 Super happy for you, Jess.
Dudette I own a Big-Ol-Bagger (Harley) and a Triumph Tiger 800 XCa. Pro tip, Harleys and Triumphs get along just fine in my garage. 👍🏼 😎 🇺🇸 🌎
You should be able to get a fly screen at least to cut down on the wind blast. Either from the Triumph accessory catalogue or the aftermarket. That height comes in very handy in traffic, you get a much better view of what’s ahead. Many happy miles and smiles.

Yep! I ordered one when I bought the bike. It's been on back order.
A good friend of mine recently got this bike! He's 6'3" He loves it!
I'd feel right at home on it. I learned to ride on Honda's. 50 trail mini, 90 3 wheeler, then a 100CB? street bike. You sit the same way on the 100. Glad you like it. Looks like fun!
I love my Triumph. Its been fun and reliable. 10 years of joy so far. Never riden a scrambler but it looks cool. Enjoy ❤

Been on the 2917 Street Scrambler for three seasons now. Heat from the pipes is rarely a problem. Just a non-factor. Love the bike. Have fun with yours.
It's great to see you enjoying a variety of motorcycles. I'm sure you'll always have a favorite but you can never own enough of them in my opinion 😊 I currently own 6 motorcycles (3 road and 3 off-road) and there are plenty more I'd love to purchase and experience.
I just came off a Harley Dyna low rider. I sold it and bought a 2020 Triumph Bonneville t120. Man I love it! Losing 170 pounds makes a world of difference.
Hello , Jess great to see you out and enjoying the new bike its not about what you ride as long as you are enjoying the ride be safe jimmy T
Morning... thanks for sharing the first ride! They are so much fun...
I've been watching you videos for about a week now (and catched up yesterday)... however, in some crazy way I missed this one and me being an european I applaude you on your choise of buying a Triumph, they'r sooo cool bikes... good goin' girl !!!! Thank you for all the hours of entertainment you have provided me with !!!!!
Enjoyed the video, love how you hold back your excitement while riding, not! I love it!!!
"I want all the motorcycles" same hertwowheels same.
Hey I went from a Triumph Bonneville T100 to an Indian Dark Horse... I still love Triumphs very dearly. I will come around to them again once I can afford having multiple bikes. You can't stop loving a certain motorcycle just because you changed brands. :) love is unconditional with bikes!
Love this. I’m currently without a Triumph for the first time in 10 years. But I am also contemplating getting an XC. Subscribed!!
I went from a Triumph America to an FJR1300 - totally get the adjusting to a different riding position. I actually had to do two test rides before I pulled the trigger - the first time it felt too weird so I only rode it for about 10 minutes. I came back a couple weeks later and took a much longer ride and fell in love :)
So, I am a Harley lover too, but… I just purchased a 2022 Bonneville T120, and OMG it is a whole new experience! Hope you’re having a ton too f fun with the Triumph!
Your giddy enthusiasm makes my Monday better!! 😂😂. Thanks for sharing. I would still have a dirt bike if my knees could handle the off road stuff.
Hi Jess , crazy crazy crazy chatty screamy video but loads of fun . Go girl have more wild dam fun on the scrambler . 😎😂🚲
I've had scamblers in the past. When I rode out to the West Coast last summer I saw a lot of places I wished I had one at the time. But it wouldn't have worked out for the ride back to the East Coast. Apparently they don't make white wall knobbies for my Ultra yet. 😀👍😎
Congratulations on your new motorcycle. I also own a black Scrambler 1200 XC and the best mods that completely transform the bike are a H pipe decat to clear the excessive heat at your right leg and fitting some better rubber like a pair of Pirelli scorpion trail 2 tyres to improve the handling on the road drastically. Have fun and ride safe!
Looks like a fun bike . Thanks for sharing !
Sick ride! I've got a Speed Twin and I LOVE it 🤘
Looks like a fun bike and I’m definitely into the off-roading idea! I’ve always wanted a dirt bike. 😎👊🏼
It's not about the brand, it's about feeling and connecting with a specific bike or whatever... Is it just me to be in love with this video or what? 😂 If that's how this Triumph makes you feel just take it, it was hilarious, ahah! Be good Jess! ✌🏼😘
I just saw your doppelganger reviewing a Ducati Multistrada V4. Have you seen "ride&roll by Julianne"? I clicked on her vid thinking it was you, lol. For real, especially this video thumbnail is a great likeness to you...Cheers, really enjoy your channel!
Loved the Aladdin song with a nice twist. I improv goofy songs for my fiance all the time. Sometimes they hit, sometimes they don't. You never know what you're going to get!
That’s a sweet bike! I could see myself riding one, love it!
thank you for sharing! I have a tiny crf250l but it is so freaking fun. It is my first bike so it.might be that lol. I can ride around town and everytime I see a gravel road or dirt road I can go in, nooo issues. Super fun, even more fun than road roads. lol
You do the errands through London, ride to Hyde Park, and stop to heat up your teapot on the exhaust manifold at four o'clock. Perfect afternoon. Furthermore, if you find yourself on gravel, think of it as though you are walking on marbles; slow things down, expect to go a little bit sideways, and be prepared to have little bits flying everywhere.
I have a Harley Heritage, a Honda Goldwing, a KawasakiKLX250, and a Yamaha FZ-07. I understand what you mean about it feeling so different. Every time I get on one of my bikes it takes me a few miles to get used to which one I am riding. I love this BMW, but I want the XE model. Looking forward to seeing some adventures on this bike.
Hi Jess, I think if you want to do offroading on a scrambler I personally believe that the Ducati Desert Sled would be a better fit for any offroad riding. The Sled has better offroading tires for getting through trails. The sitting position is just like that of a dirt bike. The exhaust is in a spot to not get the rider too hot because it doesn't touch the leg. The mudguards are around the size of a dirt bikes so as to not get the rider covered in well everything. Also, the Sled has more frame and engine protection in case of a spill so you're not paying for a bunch of damages like you would be on the Triumph which has less protection. Plus the Ducati Desert Sled is just so damn tough looking. It is basically a dirt bike that transforms into a comfortable road bike. It's the best of both worlds. That is exactly why Jordan Graham rode one to the first place finish line position in the 2020 Mint 400. Stay safe and healthy.
I have had over 20 bikes, most Harleys (14 from Farrows haha), 3 Hayabusa's, but it was not until 2015 I discovered the Adventure Bike, BMW GS. I have never loved a bike as much as I do the GSA, sitting up on top of the bike and still feeling it's a part of you makes a huge difference, the almost 10 gallon tank on a massive bike is pretty amazing. Going out west nothing comes close to an adventure bike imo. It's great that you are riding different bikes and enjoy the journey because that's really what it's all about.
We seem to have a theme among the riders here. Just ride !!!! Try them all out and you can probably find something to like about most of them. That doesn't make any one better than another, it just makes them different. Sure, some are better at one thing or another than other bikes but that still doesn't make them the be all end all of motorcycles. Most BMW models have been uncomfortable to this rider, however the K 1200 LT and the K 1600 GTL, seem to fit me just fine as an example. Motorcycles are life. Get your ride on Jess !!!!!! Get your ride on !!!!!!!
Really cool! I purchased the XE version and love it. Enjoy
I only subscribe to creators that are open minded and appreciate all types of bikes. Not interested in close minded ideas. I have a forward control custom cruiser, mid control sport touring/adventure as well as a rearset supersport and I love them all for different reasons. Very glad to see you trying new things. Lifes too short to limit your experiences.
Congrats HTW!!
excellent video jess sounds like your enjoying the triumph, stay safe
Ride on girl, thanks for sharing👍
Your video was an inspiration to me! Because of that I picked up a project bike to feature on my channel...and its not a triumph this time! (Still keeping my speed twin)
Jess, you have the best laugh!! Glad you own her :)
All bikes are special. I love the scrambler. And by the way, you look amazing on it. A great addition to your garage. Good choice!
Interesting! Thx for the review!
It's a good looking bike. Thank you for the shoe analogy. I have a shoe addiction and if I could afford the bikes to go with them I would 😛
I was looking at an XE the other day. I'm 6'1" and still couldn't flat foot it. I was really surprised by how tall it was. Great looking bike, so tempting. It is a leftover 2019, so its discounted quite a bit. 👍🍻

It's all about inseam. I can flat on the XE and I'm 5'11". Got a buddy who's 6'2" and he wouldn't be able to flat foot the XC model. That said, can you get the ball of your foot down when one footing? That's all you need.

@@ScramblerStories So true. I don't think I would have any issues with the height. It was more of a surprise that it was as tall as it is. It definitely had more of a dirt bike feel to me, but much better looks.😄👍

@@MisplacedMotoVlogger Yeah definitely. Not a fan of how dirt bikes look, but the Scrambler looks great. I got the Street Scrambler now, and although I like it I am hitting it's limit. Just spent a month riding around off-road in the desert. That 21" front wheel and the suspension travel would have made a big difference on some of the terrain we were doing. Now I just need money, and ideally not the keyless ignition. I want it for a RTW bike.

You cruised through a Metro Park I used to be a Park Ranger at! Actually one of my favorites even though it’s such a small park. Super beautiful in springtime. Also love the new beauty. Can’t wait for all the future videos with the Scrambie. 😆

I've been riding Harleys since 77. In January I bought a new non Harley. My first new bike ever. It is also a street/off road bike. Its also a lightweight compared to the Harley, and tall. I bought a new KTM 790 Adventure. I still ride my Heritage but I do like the KTM. Now that it has cooled off here in the desert I can ride again and am loving them both. You'll enjoy having a stable mount to the dyna. Just be forewarned, you will start feeling guilty if you ride one more than the other. Be safe!
Your going to find a huge difference in the cornering. Triumphs have always been understated as a cruising bike but I rode a Bonnie 73-78 tens of thousands of miles and always with a smile ear to ear. It's a different ride from most cruising and touring rides.
Love the stuff at the end and you make me want to get a second motorcycle!
Love the scrambler series bikes Triumph would be my second choice looking forward to some off pavement vids👍
What kind of helmet audio set up are you using? It sounds great.
Glad you like the bike. Riding is a dream no matter what your ride!
Nice looking bike, I have a Harley, but would like to get like a all to rain bike, I can ride it to the trails, stay safe everyone. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎊 on your new bike.
Great looking bike love your channel keep rocking 👍.
Morning jess. It's so fun njy with ur new buddy ❤That speedometer is superr sexy of dis bike 😍 Ride safe Stay safe 🤗
This was great to hear your reaction to riding in a different position. I like the look of some cruisers but after having standard type bikes I can't stand sitting low like on a cruiser. Don't you feel with sitting tall you have a better view too?
Just loving your video , have you riden the Triumph 1050 sport ? sadly they've stopped production this year ,due to EU emmisions , it's a great bike.
Jess, the thing is people are free with their advise. If you want to ride say mmmm 1934 Indian Chief you can. If you want to ride a 2020 Yamaha ( whatever ) you can. I can tell you just love riding and that is all that matters. Great video from Down Under 😎😎🐝
Triumphs are freaking awesome rides sis enjoy be safe and shiny side up greetings from Oregon
I love it, any bike that makes you scream like that is a good one. Wait until you take your first water crossing with it! I had to take a water crossing on my Street Twin and there was a lot of excited screaming after I made it through! Of course I was soaked to the bone but w/e. 10/10 would try again.
Have a 2013 Triumph Scrambler and 2018 Triumph Bobber Black. The bobber definitely sits low and you feel more connected to the road but both bikes are smooth. Neither necessarily comfortable for long rides, especially on highway as wind kind be tiring. When I go off road on single track, I still prefer my dirt bike to the scrambler - lighter and more nimble. You made a good choice however. Enjoy.
What mount are you using for the GoPro on your helmet?
Can't wait to see you out camping on this scoot. Youll never go back to the OTHER one. 😄😄😄🏍🏍😄😄😄
I am watching you ride and I am like hey that looks like where I like to ride. Then you pulled up to the light at the reservoir by the marathon and I knew it was Sunbury Rd.
Nice Triumph Scrambler have fun ride save ;-)
Red lights and a motorcycle! I remember once I waited SO patiently for the light turn...but of course it never did and no cars pulled up to trip the light as it was night and hardly any traffic. I finally just said screw it and went anyway and sure enough a cop stopped me and wouldn't accept my explanation of "should I have camped out there until the light turned green?"
Hello...fellow motovlogger here - when you do your "on bike" videos, question about your gopro settings - do you record in 1080 or higher? frame rate, bit rate, ISO / color / sharpness? Your videos always look good so just wondered how you setup your camera? Thanks in advance!
not having a windshield is tough. My Honda VTX 1300 has a quick release Memphis Shade windshield and when I first got the bike, I would take it off a lot, but I quit and now I leave it on all the time. It's just so much nicer riding with it even though I like the look better without it.
Rule Britannia! Enjoy the sunny weather (while it lasts). Winter will unofficially arrive in NE OH this coming Wednesday. Ride safe!
I am so ready for Spring/Summer 2021 Riding Season free of the threat of Covid-19.
Had a Trophy 250 before I went to Nam....fun bike.
Good job on the Bike❤️. Congratulations
Yeah, well. I went from a 1600 Nomad to a R1200RT. The Nomad is like a Road King. Sitting up higher, lighter, stops better, goes better, handles better...You'll find the same thing with the XC. The only thing is no wind protection. An alternative take would be the R9T Urban GS or now Scrambler as the Urban GS was discontinued. YMMV.
Wow... I love a digital display like that. I have often considered that exact bike vs a new Harley Roadster. You make for a compelling argument.
Yes... All the motorcycles! Ride your ride and keep the giggles coming!!
Your dyna would be fine on gravel roads. It has a lower center of gravity than the triumph. My 93 Harley fxr has a lower center of gravity than my 05 Suzuki 650 vstrom. I've taken the Harley up dirt mountain switchbacks in Colorado.
Any bike is a good bike for you if you like it. Have fun with your new bike and stay safe out there.
it sounds good when you roll the throttle, i bet it would sound better with an after market exhaust!
hey hun as long as your having fun it dont matter what bike your on so keep riding safe Jess
What's your opinion of the lag of tech with the HD compared to the scrambler? I hope Triumph can make the Thunderbird complement with the Euro 6. That's a nice bike. I'm an environmentalist who feels guilty about his love for cruisers, so I have my eyes open for them for when I'm ready to upgrade. I'll likely buy a used HD street glide because I know of a good deal. I can't help it. I love obnoxious bikes lol
Nice bike! But I have to say, I'm in love with the Bonneville (1200, mind you). Thanks for the vid.
You REALLY should ride the Suzuki V-Strom 650. I have a 2018 650dl. At 70 mph I'm tagging 6000 rpm. Redlines at 10,000. Will cruise 90-95 all day and love it. Just so you can say you did it, try the V-Strom. You'll fall in love again. I also have a HD Ultra Classic. If I could only have one bike the HD would have to go.
Great analogy. You're gonna have lots of fun on that scrambler. If you're comfortable on 2 wheels, why not keep it, you may need it. 😂😂😂👍
Sweet. I feel a project coming on.. 🔥⚙️🔧
Omg the end , lmaooooo 💀 blhahhahahahaha
Nice bike. The pre 2015 Yamaha XJR1300 is the dogs danglies. If you can find one, have a go.
Good looking bike 🤘
