Looks and sounds like a killer bass. Can't beat the price. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on one and drop in Glock preamp. The playing is also inspiring. Thanks

I have this bass in blue. I am so happy with it! It weighs 9 lbs and I have done nothing to it. I set it up the way I like it (truss rod adjustment and lower saddles) and have been totally satisfied. The fret ends could use a tiny bit of smoothing but it I could live with it as-is. The pickups sound wonderful as well. No, they aren't (insert name of boutique pickup here) but they sound very good after raising them up a bit. I haven't even changed the strings because I like them too! I would actually like to know what they are. Bottom line is that this is a phenomenal bass. One more thing; that B string is awesome. You would be hard pressed to find a better B string on a budget 34" scale bass.
Great sound
superb sounds & superb technique
That finish looks great, nice sunburst.
Your playing was fantastic! These basses are a steal for the money. I have the 5 string in sunburst like yours, and it was cheap enough, I threw in a white 5 string JJ. THe pickups and preamp on the JJ are not the best, but at the price, it was no big deal to change them out. The JP, is a little low output, but sounds great as is. Just turn the amp up a bit and it's fine.
Suono Splendido e Basso Bellissimo!
Think I'm gonna get one to try
Pretty good sounding bass. Impressive and at that price point ! How is it possible ?
I think it sounds fantastic. I just have to decide if I want the 4 string version or this one. Maybe for more P bass (motown) sounds you don't really need that B string?
I have this Bass in natural and it's well worth the money...

What's the weight.

@@cooleyballs1 Have not weighed it, but it's not heavy...I only weigh Basses that feel heavy or very light, this is neither. I would say about 9LBs.

@@Bass.Player I’m thinking of getting it in either sunburst or natural and want to remove the scratch plate, which do you think would look better

It would have been great to listen how this bass slaps with both pickups 😢
OUTSTANDING! - How does this model compare to the Harley Benton JJ-550? - Thanks!💥💯💥

The JJ550p sounds almost exactly like a 5 string Fender American Jazz, I'd say even better. It's only slightly less thumpy but in exchange every note and especially chords are very clear, although you have active Treble and Bass knobs if needed. If you don't need 24 frets and 5 strings or just want something that's fun to play, the Harley Benton JB75MN-NA will blow ANY 4 string J-bass out of the water. If you Google around people have talked about it A LOT.

How much weights this bass? Under 4kg?
Does anyone know what the fret wire material is? They say "blacksmith stainless" on the enhanced line, but they don't specify what it is on these basses.
@christophpawlowskimusic213

not stainless i think. it oxidates a bit so i think it's some kind of alloy with at least copper in it because it gets a bit green-ish. however nothing that could not be fixed with a bit of fret polish if it bothers you. they don't rust tho
I've also seen your HB Stingray review earlier. Do these HB basses sound as good as your videos represent irl? :) I mean, those are cheap as hell but sound surprisingly good to the point I'm not really sure if there is a reason to buy USA made originals for thousands of $ anymore. What's the trick? Slave labor in Vietnam? Great job, btw! I really enjoy your videos!

The trick is there are no middlemen, no advertisement costs. The factory sells X amount of guitars for a bulk price to Thomann, Thomann sells it directly to you

Absolutely, these basses sound just as good in person. The JB75MN-NA for example is practically legendary between the price and the tone.
