At our school, we were presented the Lane boxes upon graduation. I graduated in 1971 and still have mine!

Not all great pieces have a name, sticker, or signature on them. There are a lot of pieces that have no signature that are extremely valuable.

My mother got the lane chest when she graduated in Redlands it’s so neat!!

Gary needs to carry a basket for all the HTGs. Maybe you you could get him a big wicker basket and make a sign to put on it that says “HTGs” or “ I STOP FOR GLOWY GLASS” Ha ha ha😜

Harlene I actually had tears! To find your sister's beautiful artwork. It's almost like proof that her stuff is out there in the world... I mean, you know it is... I think it would be like hearing your first record on the radio. I love her pieces. Unfortunately they are out of my range 😕 QUESTION Does your sister have her pieces online? I love her style. I cannot believe you got all the glass paperweights Plus stuff, for $20... it was less than $3 each item. Insane. And the sweet antique dish with the silver basket handle around it would be perfect for artificial sweeteners in a coffee nook!

The mermaid 🧜‍♀️ vase is a resealable piece because alot of people decorate rooms either ocean 🌊 scenes 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤

That was amazing how you found you’re sisters art @ that yard sale and how her mom was your sisters friend, amazing, thanks for the continued content, been watching and supporting for awhile now, subscribed from southern Cali Orange County I see you guys travel a bit, if you’re ever in Orange County try hitting the “Orange circle” in the city of orange they have lots of cool shops a bit pricey but you can find some scores for sure, just a all around neat spot to spend the day if you’ve never been. Continue to ride the journey

What a great pick! Watching your excitement over your sister's pottery...amazing! My mouth is watering at the food you all ordered. Thanks for sharing. My uncle, George Peed, was a free lance artist for Disney and designed many of the album covers. He also was involved with the design of the Patty Play Pal doll. When I find an older album with his signature, I jump for joy.

Finding your sister's handmade pieces and meeting the buyer for whom she made them was a true "God Wink." I'm sure you had chill bumps, I sure did. Her work is so pretty, and I especially liked the blue with bird. Your artist signed Zuni style inlaid necklace is fabulous. Nothing is hanging around long from this journey. I like the pieces you chose and those you liked, but couldn't "buy in." Think I share your Champagne taste! The white gloves with red polka dots, and the Napier Bunny were so cute! Gary, I love paperweights, and especially the one with fish you found. Harlene and Will, your "Doe A Deer..." jingle and mirrow wave weren't missed. The Brats Dinner looked yummy. oh Harlene! so much to this video! your sisters pottery! WOW! it was so real when you both saw it and couldn't believe it! the timing right? you just were in Santa Barbara at the right time that she was selling! mind blown!! i loved that turtle with the flowers. i forgot what it is called. maybe Danni should see it first! LOL the owl under the plexi.. ugh was that a taxidermi? i loved Wills reaction, are you going to look under there, no i think not. that Brownie was a super find!! it works! wowie! and that silver bunny!! oh man I loved it too, but it was pricey. those photos were so cool. wouldnt they be great all framed in a man cave . love to preserve history.

I understand that Avon doesn't sell well and you don't buy it but I do appreciate that you didn't speak poorly of someone who obviously loved it. My dad was one of those guys and had so many pieces.

Hi Norma, if you thought that we were saying anything bad about whoever owned the Avon, please understand that wasn't the case. We actually enjoy looking at Avon products very much. They created many interesting decanters, bottles and more. It just doesn't seem to have a place in the current market. We would never say anything hurtful and are sorry if you felt it was.

At time stamp 13:45 there was a Hamas hand dish with the inserts next to it that you missed. When arranged in the dish it becomes a 6 piece dish for snacks, nuts, candy, etc. The sell quite well in the Northeast region. The are porcelain and made in Israel. They started being made in the 1960's and a true vintage one when signed can sell for about $85 -$100. Great sales and you picked up many wonderful items. Wow it was amazing that you found the beautiful pottery that your sister made to help design that woman's home. See you for your next journey.

A HAMSA DISH also called a KAMSHA DISH ... Usually used as an appetizer dish as that was what the original ones were design and sold for. Some people know it as the Hand of Fatima in Spain and Portugal.
