I hate that, it's a dreadful inconsistency. The whole point of the Joker is that he's a selfish dick who doesn't do anything if it's not in his own self-interest. Caring about other people is outside of the basic nature of his character. They seemed to have removed some of the most basic elements of these characters, and it doesn't work.

I want to be mad at you for making excuses for such a terrible person, but I'm really just worried about the kind of people you date, when you /literally/ try to explain away the horribly dysfunctional, abusive relationship between these two. Joker takes advantage until she's angry enough to consider leaving, then reels her back in by doing something /kind of/ nice. He doesn't even do it because he enjoys her company! He does it because she's brilliant. Batman himself points out that she came closer to beating him than the Joker ever did! We have been shown, time and time again, that he is /incapable/ of caring for anyone but himself, or of changing. She is a pawn in his obsession with Batman. And she's an easy one to keep around, too. Please reevaluate any relationship you may be in. Thanks.

True, true. Now, Hamill's Joker was always a piece of work and...vocal wise, was easily the most spot on. But this one, while a little rougher around the edges, is a hoot! This one portrays more...of a madman with a method. Hamill was more a method with a more than healthy dose of madness. The one from the comics is the extreme version of both mixed into one.

No he just treats her like absolute trash instead, you haven't been paying attention if you think he really cares about at all as he REALLY doesn't in ANY very of them together. The joker is a mad man, plain and simple as that.

His face though....he is star struck and he made it funnier by doing the whistling and that panting I thought that part of this scene was priceless

And... this is why this incarnation of the Joker is my favourite. Aside from his drastic difference from the previous incarnations, I find this one funny as hell.

I always really liked this version of the joker. You could sense an homage to Hamill, but there was just a certain spark there that made the character new, original, and interesting.

I don't know why but I like this version of the Joker better . maybe because he has more Humor than the Original.

It's for kids. It was on a kids channel. It was drawn for kids. The jokes were directed for kids (some for adults). They expect kids to enjoy. And not adults to judge it. That's like a grown man judging the shows that come on Saturday mornings for kids 😒😒😒

While I acknowledge that without Arleen Sorkin (god rest her soul) we would've never gotten Harley Quinn, I have to admit, I absolutely LOVE Hynden Walch's voice as Harley. I was disappointed she didn't return to voice the character in the HBO series, but I thought Kayley Cuoco was okay.

His first design was with a straight jacket in the first couple of episodes he appeared in, which actually worked well in this series of the batman, but I gues they gave him the design of the old joker outfit odd reasons, maybe fan request or because of Harley's debut in this series, either way, his first design actually worked well with the joker in this series.

Compared to all the other Jokers, this one treats Harley better by comparison, he enjoyed her show and even came to her when she was down. While he still gets slightly irritated by her, he has never hit or kicked her out.

+anime fan I think he is rather smitten with her in this series. He actually asks her "what is it that you want?" and while he does abandon her near the end of this episode, he seems rather happy to have her with in the other episodes. If I remember right, she actually calls him her boyfriend in Metalface of Comedy and he doesn't tell her otherwise.

I dislike this version of Joker/Harley, but the end made me lol so hard!XD 'Specially at 1:11

I personality have a love hate feeling about Harley Quinn I love her but I hate her sometimes cause all she does is try try try for the joker and love him unconditionally and all he ever does is ignore and abuse her. But then my other side of loving her is that she Id capable of handling the joker as he treats her so awful yet still can love him.

1. This joker actually doesn't treat her like shit 2. Harley is crazy from the start 3. She isn't an actual doctor lol all these likable plot twists

I can understand people not liking this incarnation of the Joker, but for me, it was a great version of him. He LOOKS insane: The unkept hair, the bare feet and hands, the almost primal way he looks and fights. It's a neat interpretation of insanity. Though I have to say that this Harley Quinn isn't quite what the real Harley Quinn is; this interpretation's a little too bratty, not adorably ditzy but secretly quick-thinking like the first Harley Quinn was. Not to mention she's a little bit too stick-like for my preference, because the other Harley was more full-bodied and curvy. But I will say that Hynden Walch does a better Harley voice than Tara Strong does, and the costume is pretty close to the first costume.
