In this video I show the process of creating a wooden kitchen table 1100 * 650 * 750 mm. I made this table as a gift for my good friend and neighbor, who has always been there for me. He asked for a handmade table for his mother, which I could not refuse, especially since I already had an idea in my mind to make something like that.
The table is made from oak and ash boards remains.
It was laborious work, especially in decomposition of wooden blocks. In total I spent 2 weeks on this project. I am happy with the outcome. The table turned out heavy, strong and stable. At a later stage, I'll recomend to add 6 mm tempered glass cover on the top to protect the surface from mechanical damage.

У меня болшая просьба.Какую эпоксидную смолу используете? Напишите характеристики ее( марка, тип, упаковка и др.)Можно и фото экземпляра.А где Вы ее приобретаете? Есть ли возможность выписать по почте?

I've been watching a few of these woodworking vids. lately and i've seen quite a few nice looking creations using wood but this is by far the best yet. That table's 2nd to none. That...is...badass!

The fun thing about woodworking is that you can enjoy doing it at all different skill levels and all different tool levels. You don't have to have a big fancy shop with expensive tools to make something you can be proud of. It can also be a journey where your skills improve over time.

There are many, many epoxy table how-tos on YT, but this is one of the most creative, as literally scrap wood of various sizes and shapes is utilized to create an intricate and very eye-pleasing mosaic table top. (The accompanying support structure that is attached underneath ain't nothing to sneeze at, either.) Most impressive is that the assembly process takes center stage, and as I watched, it became clear no dialogue was really needed. All you have to do is focus on what is presented here and create your own narrative. Mine consists of three simple words: (1) creative, (2) unique, and (3) amazing. BRAVO, sir! BRAVO!

I’ve been doing custom carpentry for decades. A lot of the Hipster live edge epoxy table nonsense I can live without, this though turned out pretty darn nice. Well done!
