Presenting and opening the first two of the monochromatic, graphic doors in February - ‘Twisted’ and ‘Balança’ with Will Sparks and VINNE being presented as all-new releases - he now proves that three is the magic number, with the explosive sound of ‘Sloopkogel’ with Quintino coming along for the ride, too! Two of the most influential selectors in the scene coming together and flying the Dutch flag high for the world to see. The sheer involvement of these two legends in music has undeniably bettered Dutch music culture and influenced many that came after!
Previously collaborating with Hardwell on releases that include 'Baldadig' and ‘Whine Up’, The DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Quintino is a name every Revealed fan will know as a trailblazing Dutchman with over fifteen years of A-grade productions in the game. On ‘Sloopkogel’ - the Dutch translation of ‘wrecking ball’ - the pair fly in with a brute force of the most brilliant order. Taking brash synthlines, bombastic and thumping ravey drum loops, along with techno-heavy rhythms, ‘Sloopkogel’ is a certified release that will set mainstages alight. Rapturous, yet utilising tight build-ups that coil to the sky and leaves the listener wanting more, the production then bounces forth like a slingshot to thrust back into the fast lane. The swing of a fierce wrecking ball swinging and whizzing past the listener, gaining momentum and coming back toward us like a heavy freight train in slow motion, then dangerously whooshing by. Not to forget the tnt demolition drop two minutes in. Woooow! This is not beautiful music, I guess, but I like how it messes with my perception. I can see the sound! It is classic but with little surprise elements on a first listen. Cool.
