Hardraw Force | Aysgill Force | Hawes | The Yorkshire Dales

A walk to see the waterfalls at Hardraw and Aysgill near the town of Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales.
Also, as a side note, I have no idea if I'm pronouncing Hardraw right! Feel free to correct me if I'm saying it wrong.

Another fab video Carrie thanks. I was up hiking above Hawes Sunday very early but driving back through just after 10-30 it was already getting busy (as usual). Keep the videos coming 👍

We went to Hawes 3 years ago and ended up at Hardraw Force, all of which I was going to film until I realised I had forgotten my GoPro - second time I have done that :o(. I was going to sea what a great days weather, then the rain came but good to see it did not stop all day. Well deserved pint at the end of the day and a nice reminded we need to go back to Hawes again, cheers Alan

Hi Carrie 😊 that weather wasn’t sure what it was doing, sun rain and more sun ☀️. Both the waterfalls looked really nice, haha liked the added Robin Hood clip 😂 nice seeing some of the old cars driving past. Looked a nice wander.

Hi Yasmin, I know it was a total cliché to add the Robin Hood clip but it had to be done, it made me laugh- and it's the only time there will be 'wild swimming' on my channel! It was a nice easy walk, perfect day all round.

Great place to go on a wet day. I don’t know if the current owners are the long term ones, but I know that hundreds of thousands of pounds have been spent on the café, car park, footpath maintenance, public liability insurance etc. by the owners. I remember a few years ago, they had to make expensive repairs due to storm damage. So for me the £4 is well worth it. There used to be a picture in the pub of the falls when it froze solid. Anyway, another brilliant video Carrie.

Thanks Pete. Yeah, I don't mind paying £4, it's a lovely place. Some places charge you more than that just to park. I didn't walk around the whole place but there seems to be a few little paths to follow and it's clearly well maintained.

Hi Nigel. I love all types of walks - I'm no walking snob! It was the first time I visited Aysgill, it's tucked away in a quite valley.

Carrie, another gem of a video in your company, beautifully shot and edited. I'm blown away by your gorgeous hair and demeanor ❤ I'm not filming currently as moving house ( life upside down etc). But thoroughly enjoy your videos, keep them coming and bless you for doing your own thing and avoiding the crowd's, I am with you in that respect 🙏☺️🫂

Hi David, you're too kind. Moving house is a big stress, takes time to get everything sorted, I hope you get back to filming soon. As for Cliff Richard- yeah, he's a bloody nuisance! The amount of times I've had to move to get away from him... :P

We did a circular walk from Hawes last year taking in Aysgill. I remember we took a wrong turn without realising and added a couple of miles on as a result.

The story of my life at the moment, every time I go out for a walk these days I take a wrong turn somewhere! It seems I can have a map, compass and a gps map on the phone and still go off in the wrong direction!

Hi Carrie. You had a beautiful day for that walk. I agree it's always longer than it says😁👍 Two beautiful waterfalls. A few women will be happy you shared Kevin Costner's bum😂 Nice to see you back out having fun.👋

Hi Jamie, it turned out to be a nice day after that one downpour. Sorry, I couldn't resist putting the cliché clip of Robin Hood in there, I know everyone does it when they visit Hardraw but it's the only time I'm going to get a naked bloke in my video!
