Je naurais pas été capable de differencier l'original de ce cover. Sauf peut etre dans la pureté de la prise de son (peut être à cause du numerique). Le chant est aux petits oignons. Le timbre est semblable au depart, l'ambitus egalement mais surtout l'oreille est excellente ce qui fait que les inflexions sont parfaites, la maitrise du vibrato aussi, et la gestion des passages voix pleine voix de tête nickel. Pour moi cest parfait. Du coup je vais m'interesser à ce chanteur que je ne connaissais pas etvqui sait si bien faire revivre cet immense groupe qu'était chicago. Au moins aussi bien que Leonid and friends et ce nest pas peu dire... Les musiciens sont également tres bien choisis. Le batteur à l'air vraiment heureux. On le comprend... ❤❤❤❤

But Chicago was started as a brass heavy band. Trombone and Trumpet. David Foster changed the focus to keyboard and strings. Successful move but the founding members that played brass became less relevant.

This reminds me of my father who recently died from cardiac arrest. Hearing oldie songs like this makes me tear up so bad. He always play them since I ws a kid.

WOW, I was skeptical that anyone can get even close to the original when I clicked on the video, but this is very close. Quite amazing

My thoughts exactly. Credits should go to studio crew too. I don’t doubt he’s a great singer, but sure he doesn’t come close to Peter’s sound without the layering and vocal effects. That’s why Peter was awesome. His natural voice was filled with effects 😍

I grew up in the 80s and listened to all the love songs. I grew up wondering who do u sing these songs to? Who do other people think about when they hear this? I rarely had a person in my life when I heard romantic beautiful songs such as this. I honestly thought this was the singer and he looked great sounded the same but would not have known their names just the band. But Lord jesus my ears didn't know this guy covered this song. Covered!!!!!!! Have I lost all and not realise this. Its beautiful.. Its amazing.. I am speech less. My god well done I don't know what to say. Now I'm in my 40s I know how a person feels when they love someone and misses them.. Can't be with them bcause the other doesn't want them. Well, I suppose that's life. Heartbrake is a part of life. This guy.....Aside from having great vocal skills from top to bottom, i believe he also has the same "something" that impressionists have. He doesn't just sing in his native voice, he slings it around to sound identical to the original song he singing. It's so subtle at times it really shows how good this guy is.

Most probably already know this but Jason is currently JOURNEY's 2nd keyboardist / vocalist and the guy taking the solo in this video is Trevor Lukather (Steve Lukather's son); re-recording the solo Steve originally recorded for Chicago. How awesome is that! Trevor recently married Jonathan Cain's daughter.
