Hard Labour: Travelling Theme Park Part 2 (Mellors Group)
Brothers James and Edward Mellors run a thirty-strong team who have only 48 hours to break down the entire theme park and pack it up ready to hit the road for the next destination. Now the Mellors have three new recruits...
The brothers will be knocking all signs of laziness out of our hard labourers as they handle huge girders and complicated twisting coaster track onto the trucks and then get it all safely up and running at the new destination in less than 72 hours. They'll be working long into the night and there's only one chance to get it right.
The experience promises to be a rollercoaster ride for the youths, both physically and emotionally, draining their strength and sapping their endurance. But the opportunity to work hard and be appreciated for their efforts gives them a chance to shine.

Since I was 5 I have worked for many showmen over the years. Including my uncle tommy green.
I worked for a carnival in the states for 7 years 25 years ago and if I hadn't fallen off a ride and hurt my back I'd still be doing it
GOOD ON YOU JOHN GLAD TO SEE YOU ARE ENJOYING THE SHOWMAN LIFE
First the leader and then the big coaster ... HUGE step 💪🏽
Love it, Stephen.
I work for crows and it is a tough job to dismantle the rides
you do well to get all down in two days credit to you and your team
Fair play in at the deep end wit da bigger stuff
The job separates the boys from the men for what i see and have done on a smaller scale, we used to help put the Waltzer up when it was in town and we were 14-15 and enjoyed the work and the banter with the showboys, and we could ride the waltzer and 2 other rides for free but we were more into hanging out on the waltzer with our pals and havin a laugh with the showmen, never knew what a job was at the time and watching this makes me often wonder how life would've been if i'd asked to travel and work with them, couldnt imagine it now as a 40yr old with 2 kids (17 & 5), but if you like a good atmosphere at work then where's a better place than the fairground!
Very cool video . Thank you for sharing it .
