I can’t wait for the bower this year, the waltzer has always been one of my favourite rides!

Awsome people setting up all rides well done

Setting it up is one thing, but the original mechanical design must have been technically daunting.

christ theyve got it easy , i used to work on Robert Baileys (Forrest Fun Fair ) Kent and all of out build up /pull down was manual . even the spider was had to be put together and the gates . bananas run ups etc only thing that we used a jib for was to take the platforms off their wagon and onto the wheels and the same with the cars .

i cant imagine the days when they built the original noahs arks/speedways up with those heavy platform panels with no jib!

the new ones sound so clattery and tinny. nothing like the low rumble of the older waltzers. better atmosphere too.

Nice video, I didn't know this one and had no idea about the way of building it up. Thanks for subscribing my channel, I will bring new videos of this kind in September 2014. But until then there will be a lot of other videos about different subjects.

looks all right like the lights inside the cars thsts nice but id take the spots off the car backs as its to much but keep them on the platforms maybe put a light or 2 under the dancers

over 12 years on the gaff i first started on a maxwell converted ark those were the days back waltzer cars with no headrests

Nice video , they did the build a bit backwards though . The running boards should have been built first , the track second . This is to avoid having to climb over the support structure . Nice looking ride .

It's a good looking machine but it lacks the soul of the older ones.
