Sorry this took me so long to put out. I've been working my ass off on it for a really long time-- and I was happy to do so. I'm aware of the complexity of and contemporary sensitivity around the subject of policing, and my objective is to satirically illustrate multiple perspectives, often to the point of being ridiculous, in service of telling a story that transcends political polarization, with a message that's pro-good cop, anti-bad cop, and promotes different people working together to build a better future. I'm so appreciative of my entire cast for volunteering their time and talent to contribute to this project. I hope they can feel proud of the final product. I made some mistakes during production I didn't become aware of until post-production that I hope aren't too glaring, including characters' visors occasionally being the wrong color, and raw game audio occasionally having a tinny effect-- the latter's due to an error I believe was caused by an audio recording sub-process of my capture software being duplicated following lock-ups of that software, a brute-force shut-down of it by me, and then a re-launch. Now that I believe I've identified the issue I'll do my best to avoid it going forward. Making a show like this solo is extremely difficult. I spent many years outlining the plot of not just this episode, but an entire season of episodes-- five is my current estimate; I'm not simply making things up as I go-- I already know how this all ends. It's subject to change, but I do have a relatively solid plan in place for the overarching story. Long-time fans of mine may know that this is a remake of an old show of mine of the same name. I made the original when I was considerably younger. Although I don't hold it in anywhere near high regard, I have genuine respect and gratitude for the appreciation of it by fans and, in hindsight, and with my current filmmaking skill level, saw great potential in its premise and characters. I'm, as always, deeply grateful to you all for your patience, viewership, and the incredibly generous support of my backers throughout. I hope the episode satisfies and intrigues you enough to watch more.

I can't speak for everyone, but I have no problem with you taking as much time as you need to make your projects (I'm busy with my own life, so I can wait lol). I've been finding myself gradually entering the film/television field and learning from firsthand experience how much time and effort is put into just a single production on all cylinders. Growing up watching your stuff, including the original Hard Justice, was a big part of what made me want to pursue this career path. Seriously, man, you're a huge inspiration to me and I'll always support the stuff you make. Keep up the good work, Jon!

I think Titanus' plot is super strong. Very excited to see where this is headed!

Been ages since I’ve watched any machinima. Hit me in the nostalgia. Really loved the humor, and enjoyed listening to the familiar characters in the cast.

Dude you killed this! Had me hooked from the get-go and loved the blend of high-quality AnC pacing and dialogue with a fresh new story, cast of characters and feel. You were within the established norms of AnC for so long (a show which I loved) so it's amazing to see you turn your skills to something totally new and you did not disappoint! The cop training sequence had me cracking up, but I also felt sad and nervous at other moments of the story too. Truly brilliant stuff mate, I feel like I've taken the first bite of a delicious meal. I have so much to look forward to! =)

I'll miss Brad, Marc really did a good job with his voice acting.

I forgot the younger cops name that used to follow the MC around from the original, he was dumb but super funny as hell. I hope the character wasnt cut Edit: it was eddie, i miss eddie.

Been a long time Arby n The Chief fan and this reboot of Hard Justice has the DNA of the later Arby seasons but honestly felt so new and refreshing with its story and thematics. Also, props to you for the absolutely incredible directing for the cast, felt like I was watching cutscenes from a video game sometimes and awesome music as always, really well done on this one Jon, was hooked all the way throughout the episode!

Jon think you could do an Arby n the Chief byte where Chief discovers the new catholic saint Carlo Acutis played Halo? Chief could act like he loves the catholic faith but then discovers Carlo liked Super Mario and Pokemon more then a Halo (it do be like that) Keep up the good work, we love it!

Really stoked to have episodes of this to look forward to now. This was awesome. I'm really glad that you sat down and decided to go all out with this story, it's clear that youre really inspired and are building another incredibly rich and grand narrative. That is something ive always been impressed with with later AntC and I'm so happy I'm about to get more of it with this series. I really love the tone, it's like an evolution of how i remember the original series except much more mature. Man that was so long ago it's crazy how much you've grown as a storyteller since then. The jokes and the world feel Verhoevian, but with the Jon CJG flavoring we all know and love. I'm really hyped about this parallel story being set up here with Max and Titanus. Very looking forward to seeing how that pans out. I knew the story had aliens but wasnt expecting to see so much of their perspective. All good shit. And of course it's always a treat to hear those tunes from the darkweb. I listen to that music so much I keep forgetting it was made to be used in these projects lmao. Keep on goin man I'll be back for the next one 👍

That was a pretty great watch, but the prologue diologue felt very weird. Like it was trying to be funny without an actual punchline. Also any close ups on "alien" faces I don't think work very well given how much the models bob up and down. But everything else was excellent an I can't wait for more.

I like the return of the Clyde voice for Odyx, always soothing to my ear for some reason

Yesss finally this is out! Been looking forward to your next dramatic story telling project since the end of S8 of arby. This has a pretty sweet direction to it so far, I love the parallels between the two sides. The humor and seriousness blend hitting just right so far. Only feedback comes to mind is the voice distortion on the aliens is maybe a touch to strong, but the subtitles help. I’m quite interested to see how the worlds established collide and how that’ll manifest. Great start Jon so stoked for your new show!

That conversation between Titanus and his mother had some very strong FF10 or Kingdom Hearts vibes.

Loved it. It feels wonderfully classic, great decision to keep it on Reach/360. Music is great as usual, and I really enjoyed the composition of a lot of the shots.

I actually really like the jet engine sound part. Reminded me of event horzions ending. I think it portrayed what was going into arbiter and eugenes fusion nicely.
