Yup !!!!!!!!! Had the same car in Sublime Green. Super fun ride, but was gonna get me arrested because I have no impulse control and would rocket it up to 160-170 all the time. Sold it and got a TRX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just took delivery of my Tor red HC red eye 3 weeks ago and I'm amazed at the car...the car gets a bad wrap on it's size because it sure don't feel that big driving it and the power delivery is second to none bone stock this is coming from a long time Vette owner...I proudly park my HC red eye next to my 2019 manual C7 Z06 I'm finding myself driving the HC more than I do the Vette as the auto trans in this HC is spectacular and so damn quick shifting it's unreal kudos to Dodge for making such a great car...I will say however when people say this car is dangerous as far as getting away from you they ain't lying you will go sideways much quicker than you will in any Vette I've driven and I've owned and driven many...again kudos to Dodge for building this last of the true muscle cars left sadly after this year they will be gone forever...I will hold on to my two fossil fuel beauties and they can keep their electric crap not interested in the least no matter the brand or quickness.

As a Corvette owner for 15 + yrs, 2018 Challenger SRT or 2019 HCRE will be my next vehicle purchase in the near future. Still not a Corvette, but a handsome chunk of power that demands my ownership & attention! Good video 👍

Great video as always. The Challenger is a true muscle car. It is big, and bulky, and has a ton of power. I still prefer the Camaros and the Corvettes which are actual sports cars.

Dodge in the day. Built the Viper as its sports car. Competed with the Corvette. Enough said. Challenger for Muscle Car duties. Demon 170 as top contender in Challenger form. Enough said. Charger as a Sport Sedan. Top of the line redeye Charger. Enough said. So you do not have to remind us of what each is for. It is such a back handed compliment. It’s fast and quick… but it’s no sports car. WE NEVER PRETENDED IT WAS. So just stop with the crap. Accept it as it is presented.

Enjoy your Camaro to all who want one. 2024 they too will be gone. I hate it for the future generations. So just chill when you have to buy used.

Just like mentioned before the 8:00 mark - I think what many confuse abut MOPAR is that they think they're sports cars or something they're not. In mainstream knowledge with a MOPAR you usually have a big motor that likes to boogie in a straight line, if you want a track car you'd need an ACR

Reminds me of my previous Challenger Scat Pack Widebody in the same color. It is a very comfortable ride. I love the Redeye. But, I’ll keep my C7 ZO6 and ZL1 1LE. I like taking curves!!!!!

I've never driven a hellcat or a Corvette but I've driven a 700+ horsepower 392 charger, that's a lot of fun.

Those cars are 485 hp from the factory and don’t handle boost well enough for that kinda hp jump without rebuilding the engine

​@@QuinLIVEScats are actually 500hp, the 485 is an underrating from the manufacturer, but with forged internals they can handle the boost. Stock maybe 4lbs of boost to keep it reliable. Haven't done it to mine, fbo will be good enough to get the car up in power to where it's noticeable.

Absolutely, Hellcats are super fun to drive. I had a 2016 Hellcat and 2021 Hellcat Widebody. the only downside to Dodge is that those cars are the most targeted for theft. Definitely a monster!

People hate on hellcats until they drive one, and they only hate on them because of the weight. Watching this video at work, has me itching to drive mine now.

Great content, I love my 2021 Challenger Scat for sure, all V8 Challengers are beasts for strait line performance. Unfortunately, dealership markups make it depressing on the new boosted line, C170, etc...

Lol, it was definitely a fun drive!

I had a 2021 Redeye that I bought with 9 miles on it. Had it for a year and a half and put over 22k miles on it. The most comfortable cruiser for daily driving. Having that said, I traded it in for a C8. The absolute worst part about the Redeye was the lack of traction. I could never use the power. But boy did I love it while I had it.

Adding a drag radial (NT555R2 or ToyoR888R) on the rear will make it a totally different experience as well being able to use the power down low. I enjoyed the video!

Yes I have! Lots of fun and a big comfortable car but a handful pushing it in corners but that's not the point with this car!

Mike I have a question nor related to this video. On your Camaro do you have the tire air deflectors in the front below your splitter? I have them on my Camaro SS.

I had a 2019 Challenger Hellcat. It was very nice and comfortable. Almost impossible to hook up when going light to light. The automatic is nice, but boring. That is why I sold it and bought a Camaro SS 1LE. Better back road handling and great with a 6 speed.

I get why people like the Hellcats, but I'll stick with my C6 ZR1. 😎🤙🏿

The Challenger is the only real muscle car available. It is big, roomy and extremely comfortable. When you accelerate, you get that magnificent supercharger whine that pushes you back into the alcantara. They are glorious cars and so comfortable, especially for long trips. I found mine 1900 miles away and never felt fatigued the entire drive home.

Great video but it was hard to hear your friend. I've always thought Dodge did a better job with a retro than the Camaro or even the Mustang. Just my opinion.

I love my dodge challenger, but I also have a C7 Corvette and a SS Camaro! They all ride differently, but I love All of them

Crazy how heavy Dodge made all their cars, especially the charger/challenger. Granted a muscle car is supposed to be heavy high hp cars, but the challenger is more a pony car than a muscle car. The charger is a true muscle car.

lets be real its will never be as fun as a vette. coming from a scat pack charger to a c6 i would never go back to mopar.

I haven't watched the video as i just read comments, but i can't see what anyone would like about a vett, except for on a go cart track.

What the hell does this guy do to have a ZLE & a Hellcat? That's the real question you need to answer haha

Zl1 weights almost 4000 pounds . The redeye is 500 pounds heavier not 1000. Still slot though

Current markups on Dodge products is crazy, so anything new is a waste of money. I dumped my 2019 ScatPack in 2021 for a C8 that I was totally disappointed with and wished I would have kept the ScatPack. My only saving grace was I also have a 2004 C5 Z06 which is still today the most fun driving / best track, Autocross, HPD car I have ever owned. The C8 is a nice cruiser but simply is not very engaging on the track way to much understeer.

The interior looks like a 90's leftovers! I know Dodges have always been that way! Just stuff a big powerful engine in a car dont worry about the interior! But that was the 60's n 70's! 2023 now get with the program!

Everyone hates dodge until they get in one and start acting like a kid in a candy store. No other car makes you feel like that.

The Challenger is much more comfortable and a better car for daily driving. But the Vette kills it in styling and sportiness.

Dude !! Now that’s a real man’s car - dump that wimpy C8 and get yourself a Hellcat ASAP !!!

Nice boat that can t put the power down 🤣 it s a nice sedan car but not a sport car. Which one is quicker? a C7 Z06 and its 650 HP and 1600 kg vs redeye 800 hp but with 2000 kg (same power to weight ratio), I mean on straight line? On a race track I know the answer.

I beat c7 z06 in a redeye stock vs stock on rolls. Z06 will jump out first but I'll pull'em back in and pass them up

Took my Dad for a ride in my HC RE widebody......he was a big Dodge guy back in the 60's and 70's. The RE has WAY more HP than those cars back in the day. He was speechless when I floored it on the highway! He said he had never seen anything like that before. Good times !

Dodge isn’t inferior, they are just made different for a different type of buyer. At the end of the day though, I can appreciate any car that’s nice, and this one was super nice! 👍😊

Dodge does not make the ZF 8 speed. Its made by ZF Friedrichshafen, a German manufacturer specializing in transmissions.
