Thanks to you I'm going to set front wheel clamp closer to front for my Dyna an going to put more stainless U-clamps more forward an toward rear on stand I'm by myself so you taught me to brace stand before mounting bike, Thanks, Tim p.s I see you have saddlebags mounted, are you ok with the metal bag cover hinge on outside of bike? If I had these bags I think I'd paint hinge rivets!

    OK guys, a couple of points. Best practice is to push the bike on the lift. If you ride up, wear a helmet, it's a long way down to the pavement for your head, and devise some outriggers, wood or plate steel, you need more purchase for your feet. Also, for lift sliding think about bolting an appropriate piece of angle iron to the floor. Works well. I actually knocked a side off a piece of square tube too and place that over the angle iron and base cross member as well for "hold".

  • @dynademos

    @dynademos

    Be careful with that rear tire drop spot. My dad has the same lift he went to slide the back wheel of a sporty over once and that bitch fell threw🤣🤣 it was down luckily it was a pain i suggest putting 2 bolts on each sid of that plate just to keep it from doing that.

    Why does everyone put those fairings/tbars on their Dyna? Nothing kool about those or T Bars and seeing 100000 other bikes look the exact same out there while riding. No way that shit goes on mine. Ya gotta put your attitude on your bike, not your friends or their friends. I am old school though. Pretty sweet other than that! I went with an air lift. Cost a lil more but well worth it!
