Both machines are fully waterproof and work like they ought to.
This hobby is both fun and exciting with the possibilities of finding real treasures!

Tbh i like it detects mutilpie targets in one hole
Don’t get the coil wet. Maybe I got a bad one, but it most certainly isn’t waterproof on mine.

Good idea!
Just picked up one of the Gordon detectors. The pinpointer function is very finicky. My harbor freight 9 function pinpointer feature works better so far. I am using it at the beach which may play a factor.

Keep trying. The pinpointer on my Gordon is tricky to catch the signal but once it's locked on it's perfect.

@@rickylakemusic will do thank you I've noticed if I turn the sensitivity down when using the pinpointer it works a little better

Spend 40.00 more and get a simplex lite their so much better my Gordon's was junk

I like mine, it has a learning curve that I'm eager to explore. This is a decent machine. Me likey!
can u notch out the numbers in the upper 80's and 90's, seems to be the trash signal

Still fairly new to this machine. So there is tons I don't know. I have tried discrimination and found that the tone or frequency of the signal tells volumes. There ARE THREE distinct tones in that will inform you about the object. There are always metals that will not discriminate out but trick the novice into digging. LEARNING CURVE.

Kaboom! Already getting yer money back! I figger four years of clad to break even and one gold ring to knock it outen the pahk! What number did it display for the quarter? ? My unit reads 83 if it's a quarter. 81 for a dime. 77 fer zinc pennies
