    Hey dude, thank you so much for your review. I know it's 3 years too late but a great idea to help you guide that strip to secure the bag would be little flip hooks that will lightly hold them in place but when you pull it they let go :)

    Try using magnet to hold the bag in place while you're fitting the bag.

    Came here hoping for a review. Instead I got a lesson on how not to change a bag.

    M A always learn from others failures. It collects dust, this is a weeks worth of collection in my shop, and the bag is a PITA to change. Not much else to say

    Really appreciate the video. Can’t beat the price and if the function is comparable to what I’d buy at Grizzly, all the better.

    Did you have any dust collection system before you bought this? If so, what did you have and how does this compare?

    Man I wish I could get a large unit like this for my basement shop, cant unfortunately because i rent, cant get a dedicated circuit for it. Guess I just have to stick with shop vac with a dust deputy

    use some small earth magnets to keep the bag in place then use the strap clamp.

  • @brandon5640
    @brandon56404 жыл бұрын

    If you get the multi pack of hand clamps from harbor freight (like $10) it has those super small clamps that nobody uses, attach those to the sides (similar to the tape you used in video) with either duct tape or silicone, then those can hold the bag up while you attach with the metal clamp.

    Why didn't you put a crash can at the bottom ( for the motor can sit on ) and put a plastic glass window into the side to when it get full

    Fold the bag open over the ring first and then lift the ring and bag at the same time up to the collector

  • @duffamongus

    Alright, 3 years late but hopefully this will help someone else. Those metal tabs on the side are to slide the bag in to hold it in place. Then you slide the band in the same slots over the bag and they are both held in place while you close the latch.

    It is FAR quieter than a shop vac. And a much lower tone that does drive you crazy.

    This was one of the hardest videos to watch I've ever viewed. When you pulled off the bag and dust clouds forced you to leave the building was painful!! You had just injested more harmful crap into you lungs in a few seconds then you should consume in a year. Please take the time to do a little research about proper setup of your system and develop better waste removal techniques. The time invested will be worth it a hundred times over ... you are worth it!!

    That bag, the cloth one, that it comes with is not sufficient for real air filtration. You either need to convert to an air filter system or move it outside. It's actually worse than if you had no DC.

    Turned mine into a 2 stage with a dust deputy and added a filter instead of the bag. Those bags are almost worthless.
