Harari Meets School Kids - Unstoppable Us

One of the best things about speaking with kids is that they challenge you to think harder, and to consider where things really come from. The ‘Unstoppable Us’ middle-grade series is written with children’s questions and concerns in mind, and conversations with younger humans continue to serve as inspiration for the books.
Filmed with 7th graders and teachers at the Institute for Collaborative Education, New York, in autumn 2022.

Having kids im these days is very interesting and challenging. The most important thing I want to teach mine is that they are valuable and need to have confidence in their own value. I trust deeply that they will be able to adapt to anything in ways we don't imagine yet.

Money even though it is used as a form of resource. It gives people the powerful illusion of choice and motivates people to become more of who they are intrinsically. So if someone strives for peace and harmony, it can assist them to find balance in the way we can help others. Helping humanity, helps ourselves. Thank you for the thought provoking message you shared with the children. I certainly benefited hearing this message too. 😔 It's not easy to help people stuck in an action consequence cycle unaware of what motivates them.

Wow, they have intelligent ideas of money. One of the aspects is that they accept money as fungible-I really dont want to say abstract because they said that what they buy is tangible. They also see money allows cooperation. I’m not trying to be scientific. Its just very interesting how they understood the concept but took it a step further that instead of accumulating it they saw a market that include a demand for something this doesnt have in the current- its the higher order of items that we dont get in materials. What those products are is something they can create and I would like to see it decades from now. 100% Free markets arent really possible because of corruption but the idea is there. I am sure kids arent interested in capitalism-which isnt the same as a free market- capitalism involves only the few people who have enough power to capitalize and the majority of people are not free to do that. So it seems like they understand it more than many adults. Also, I wonder just how much it would be for those kids to actually see animals or all the many types of animals. Up to a certain point kids have a need to play in an unstructured but free environment. So interacting, exploring, playing- I know of a few successful teachers that allude to those things as well as things you do. Now there is a difference in fantasy- so many people cannot distinguish that what has nothing to do with reality and that is what I believe you are speaking about. When we can use the faculty that allows us to visualize, to conceptualize in order to make ideas that have to do with reality then we have something good. So, I hope you have a great time with your book tour!

We as humans are different from animals. Because animals don't have a soul and when God created human beings God breathed the breath of life into man, man became a living soul. Read in Genesis 3. God is the Creator of all things that exists.

@@soliniv1411 The Holy Bible is all truth. Other interpretations are false doctrines that changes the Word of God. And anyone who changes God's Word has God's wrath upon then. It says it in Revelation 22:18,19 KJV 📖♥️ For I testify unto every man that heareth these words of the prophecy of this book, "If any man shall "add" unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall "take away" from the words of the book of this prophecy, "God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the Holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
