Harald Invades Ahmedabad Slum 🇮🇳

■ INDIA, AHMEDABAD: With the collapse of the 1st Indian front, fresh thinking was needed. I decided to venture down a completely new alley. To my great surprise the Daru man and all the hangers on immediately ceased to shadow me. Maybe they were not welcome in that street. Either way with now that I was finally alone I felt my chances of seeing the inside of an Indian home in this neighborhood were vastly inmproved.

Let me help with the translation a bit : 1. The Family : a. There are three brothers and the person escorting you was the eldest of three, [lets say his name is mota bhai (Hindi/Gujarati for Big Brother)]. so mota bhai is a jovial personality who got married at the age of 25 with his love (Love marriage in Indian context is referred to the scenario when you choose your partner yourself or when the marriage is done strictly with the choice of parents it is known as arrange marriage. In India 90% marriage are strictly arranged). b. Mota bhai father can be seen resting in the end of the video but no clear info on his mother. c. The girl making food is the daughter of Mota Bhai and Mota bhai has 4 sons as well (total 5 childrens of Mota Bhai). d. One of the son of mota bhai went out for work and has 2 childrens. e. The little boy with the sunglasses (Rayban) is the son of mota bhai's brother. (Name - Naresh). f. They are Hindu family from lower income group. 2. The Home : a. They have 1 room for each brother with family (attached with the kitchen), so 3 rooms . another 1 for the son of mota bhai (as he has his own family now) and maybe 1 for the father of the mota bhai. Plus the room on the top was meant for the wives of three brothers/or the married sons. (and obviously they said it was locked :P) b. They have dish satellite connection but i think it was not working due to payment issues. 3. Other Info. : a. Dish Served : aloo tamatar (tomato-potato dish) with cauliflower in Onion fried gravy. b. The God Image - Shankar or Shiva Or bhole from Jai Bhole ki. Ref. - Mr. Bald. (In your 1st video (harald Invade part 1) The statue people were making was of Lord Ganesha - He is the son of Lord Shiva or bhole. Nicely done My Friend, Bravo. So happy to have a glance of the lovely Family with your micro lens.

I'm also in that region in the south of India Sri lanka another State. I appreciate your interesting about the life of Indian people. Me its very afraid. You travel and breath the polluted area mingled with the people and eating everything and by action you deal with them.. amazing you face a lots of challenges but you did not hate anyone. Actually you respect the human nature but that was very rich area once up on a time it was conquered by the invaders. Its very sad Indian government provide a limit of assistance. You should visit the south also in India and proceed to Sri lanka visit many parts of the island.. You'll imagine the life of the people and its nature. Where you visit there you won't get even a fresh water. If you visit Sri Lnka very different. Contact me take care !

Money is good, very good.....it is the people who are good or bad, who use it differently.

Heard of a teabag, but never tea in a bag, this could be a new trend Harald. What a nice happy welcoming family, love how the younger ones speak such good English. Indian culture teaches the value of the family and especially respecting elders. In the west, when our family get old, he put them into a nursing home, often to be mistreated by others. We should learn from these wise caring Indian families.

I think these are not cultural differences rather conscious choice which anyone can make regardless of being white, black, orange, blue, pink etc.

Hrald, really you are a wonderful guy, i really enjoy watching this. Thank you for this video. What a friendly kind people that invited you into their home. Something like that would never happen in my country. And to see how grateful and happy that kid was when you gave him your sunglasses was heart warming.

Those kids 💕 my heart is exploding 💥 Indians - they are the reason why India is so Incredible! If the only thing in the house is a piece of roti and a sip of chai - it is offered to YOU. BIG BIG HEARTS. Those kids so pure and happy...UNSPOILED. and......I will be back there in about 6 months and so EXCITED.....your videos help me forget about the "cons" of India - like the long ass journey to get there. Bet.... No one UNDERSTANDS a long journey until they do India
