Yes, he didn't mention this but the female of the species is often even scarier than the male. They tend to be very territorial so approach with caution.

I also have 3 sons and a daughter. All four love their computer time. Youngest son still lives at home and I still go through a lot of this. He's 33yrs old, lol.

😂😂 Good one. I used to unplug the modem and put it up on the bookcase. When the grew big enough to reach it I’d lock it in the safe. I said if they could unlock it they could use it. No one in the house knows the combination except me 😈🤣🤣

Can confirm turning off the internet will bring everyone roaring out wondering what’s going on… or well it used to, now I just switch Wi-Fi off so it’s purely running off my phone’s internet instead, when it gets confused over trying to default to wifi but no wifi is available or too patchy to use. It’s when both aren’t working you have a Problem. Also love the horror story vibes over teenagers. XD

And here is the teenage male coming out of his room at 1:17pm, finally arisen from his 14-hour slumber... that is if he wasn't up all-night playing Halo or Fortnight with his other teen friends, then it might have been 4 hours. He proceeds to wander into the feeding area, better known as the kitchen, in need for sustenance. He opens the fridge in the hope to find the left-over pizza from the night before, only to be out of luck, for his sister, who is also a teenager, known for being obsessed with the newest craze called "TikTok" and Instagram, took the last of it... And I suspect the possibility of a screaming match within the next two minutes... if not sooner. The poor parent is sipping their favourite beverage, in hopes that they wouldn't have to get involved.

PERFECT!!!! All so true! Momma Bear of 3 young adults. The teen years can be hard. Just remember this season is about them individuating from you. Think terrible twos, but with bigger bodies that can punch holes in walls, are expensive to clothe and mouths that curse just like you have been doing under your breath for years and using words that can deeply wound you. It is a gift, REALLY. You and they will be so glad to split that it makes sending them off to adult much less painful. And then when they do come back, they bring amazing partners and sweet fur and human babies to love ❤️!

Well, the answer to that is that all the free places that teens liked to hang out became costly or got removed. We used to have a hangout spot down the street when I was a teen. Gone. The skate park we used to go to now costs money to enter. The price of the pool and movies has gone up substantially. The three parks in town - one is rundown and closed off, one is remodelled to cater to younger kids and the last is still open but now has a giant fence around it so it can be locked. In addition to that, any larger crowd of teens is looked at by people as being up to something or causing a disturbance. The outside is no longer friendly towards teens. They have no safe spaces to exist there. So, with the addition of convenient ways to interact without having to go anywhere, why wouldn't kids nowdays take to staying home instead?

Yep, the internet disconnection is the fastest way to get your children out of their rooms and also the quickest way to get them to do their chores. Chores that “takes me aaaages” takes them seconds when the internet is at stake.

Not bad but cushion would have been on the floor, dishes would have been in the bedroom, swearing would have been coming from the room along with the typing and 11.50am is too early for one to be out of bed. 100% accurate on the tissues and Nikes. Pro tips; if you encounter one do not look directly at it, or speak to it as this will cause extreme eye rolling. If you are lucky enough to get a grunt then you have done well.
