Woooowwie I love when ppl make stuff ab the phone guys and I've never seen someone put so much like- thought and detail into the honestly awful body horror shit they go through. The colors are beautiful, and I love how the music sounds cheerful which- to me- kinda represents how overly chipper about the whole process the Freddy's company is.

Okay, let me just... sort my thoughts about this animation into like. A list??, because oh my god this is like. the best. thing ever?? lemme preface this with the fact that I might have gotten some of the phoney's identities wrong and I apologize!!! So, first off, Harry, Jake and Roger at the beginning? Showcasing their problems and repetitive difficulties?? Oh my god???? Okay, so Harry, has been working at the company for GOD KNOWS how long, and has likely seen a LOT of springlock failures. Him being shown carrying various different bodies at various different locations with such a blank look to him, as if he's done this millions of times before and is numb to it by now,... it's just. IT'S REALLY GOOD and I can't put it into words right now. And then there's Jake, who walked miles and miles, through rain, snow, sun... all to see his son again. And he's TIRED, and that illustration shows it. He's walked through god knows how many towns and cities at this point. The sign changing is SUCH A nice detail, too, oodfighj. And ROGER. OHGFIH. he looks so hopeless, just staring upwards surrounded by empty bottles? He doesn't know what to do with himself. He has *NOBODY.* And the flashing images of different arrangements of the empty drinks???? He's done this so many times before an.d... . sjdakjs ..... this is devolving into nonsense but my thoughts are running around in circles like an excited doggy. Then, it moves on to the next scene. A phone hanging above a human skeleton, machine merged with flesh. It's just overall a REALLY COOL composition, the bright, sketchy lines contrasting with the overall gruesome image being shown makes everything feel almost dreamlike, but with a sense of dread you can't quite pinpoint. AND THEN WE GET TO THE DISMANTLING PORTION OF THE ANIMATION, which, might I say, is SO, SO well animated. Extremely smooth, fluid, and chock-FULL of personality and movement. Okay, so Steven is shown tearing his dial off, which, is like, SO cool???? and the rush of blood(????) immediately bursting out of his head is awesome. But like, Steven's death compared to Peter's (who is shown in the next scene,) leaves.... some implications. Peter was ACTIVELY struggling. He DID NOT want to die, he was tugging at the contraption he was locked in.. But Steven pulled his dial off himself. Dude. Like, NOBODY talks about the fact that Peter and Steven BOTH DIE before the events of DSAF 3 despite the fact that Phoneys are functionally immortal. Nobody talks about HOW they could have died in some of the endings that leave it up to your interpretation. But these ideas? These ideas. Are so cool. Also, side note, the transition from Steven to Peter was SO smooth, I re-watched it like six times to try and deduce how exactly you got that effect. a nd then it transitions to terrence :))) i love you tango
